Alexandria, the girl she had met at training a while ago.

Cynthia Well sat down on a stool next to a wooden table along the sides of the beach. The sun was beaming down upon the ocean that made the beautiful ocean sparkle more then it usually did. Today Cynthia sported a loose shift that hung off of her. Holding the looker to see a blue bikini peek through the shirt. The bottom half of her had nothing on expect her bikini bottom. And her hair was down in a wavy fashion.

She was going to meet Alexandria, a great friend she had known for a while. That she still had a slight crush on. She had been so busy with training she did not even have time to see Alexandria.

It was weird for her at first, she never told anyone about it but tryed to give her hints. It never did work, maybe if she did on their meeting today it would work? Cynthia did have the guts to kill a person but she did not have to guts to tell Alexandria how she felt, but maybe she could get them for a couple seconds today?

They had not seen eachother for a while and she was looking forward to it. Lightly sketching the circles in the wood, she waited paitently for her. Ready to catch up and life and see how her love life is like. And if her plan did not work, she was going to have to go get herself a rich man.

I slipped on my pink bikini with blue polka dots and threw a loose crop top and denim shorts over it. i didn't even bother grabbing shoes and just took my towel and jogged to the beach. i was seeing my good friend today, Cynthia. We hadn't seen each-other in a while and we missed each other. i really was interested what was going on in her life.

I wanted to know how she was, how her family was, or if she had a boyfriend! I was definitely excited to tell her about mine! it was going to be just like old times. Good girl friends spilling their heart out to each-other. Their problems, worries, thoughts, and love. i was so excited!

As I rounded a tree I saw her sitting near another one carving circles in the ark. i smiled and called out to her. I ran over as fast as i cold and took her into a huge hug. "Oh my god!! I've missed you so much! How is life/" I asked starting to sit back down against the tree casually. I studied her, she became so pretty! She must have a guy in her life...

She was amazing to look at like always. Cynthia happily greeted her as she watched her trot up towards her. She loved the long hug that Alexandria had brought her into. Holding it for a while, her head sightly rubbed against her shoulders. Wanting to keep it forever, she let her go and watched her assemble herself against the short tree that stood on the other side of the table.

Forgetting her stool, she went over and sat close to her. Brushing her hair back to expose her front chest more. The scorching heat off the warm summer was defiantly full on. It was hotter the usually but that also meant a reason to not wear so many pieces of clothes. Cynthia's shirt just hung on, sweat was barley starting to form.

"Well my life! It has been great. I have swam alot, watched some of the games, exciting games I have to say. But what is great that I get to meet you again! So how is life with you? Anything fun happening?" Excitement was a sure thing in her voice. Cynthia never really was this excited but when meeting a girl she had barley seen for a while, it was okay to be super happy.

I giggled as we sat back against the tree. I layed my legs infront of me with my ankles crossed in a realxed fashion. I studied Cynthia's face. She seemed to be just as excited as I was, which relieved me. I let out a big smile, white teeth and all.

"Well my life! It has been great. I have swam alot, watched some of the games, exciting games I have to say. But what is great that I get to meet you again! So how is life with you? Anything fun happening?" I laughed listening to her life, not as exciting as i thought her life would be. I was a bit sorry for her, a pretty girl like this should have an exciting life.

"Wow, your life sounds exciting! And my life, oh I canlt even explain how awesome my life is! We have to hang out more Cynthia!" i said excitedly. I crossed my arms behind my head as I lay back some more. I wonder if she knew I had a boyfriend...did she know we were serious? i wonder...

The scorching heat was reaching to the top temperate, Cynthia fanned herself while she gazed at Alexandria as she talked. Her feet were shoeless and traced lines in the sand plus mixture of grass that laid on the ground. It was fun to listen to other peoples life’s but Cynthia could not help but feel jealous.

She could not explain how awesome her life was? Well, it sounded like she was having a great life. Unlike mine.... After not being reaped again it was just annoying and now she had to hear Alexandria have a great life? But Alexandria was her best friend, she could have a good life if she wanted too. Maybe this summer Cynthias life would be great like Alexandria’s life was?

She stretched in the sun, moving her arms behind Alexandria before pulling them back and playfully poking her shoulder.

"We have to hang out more. But now tell me, why is your life so awesome, new boyfriend?" Cynthia hoped not.[/justify][/size]

I smiled as she looked me over, i did the same. She was so pretty. I was actually jealous. A fit body, silky hair, big eyes. I had a normal body, beachy, dry hair, and brown eyes. I was just normal. i really wanted to look like Cynthia so badly. I sighed as she spoke again.
"We have to hang out more. But now tell me, why is your life so awesome, new boyfriend?"

I smiled again, forgetting all my flaws and opened my mouth to speak. I held myself backa little thogh, trying to find the right words to fot, becase I relly did not want to seem self centered and selfish.

"More than just a boyfriend, were really serious, and want to get married,"

I said softly and steadily. i couldn't help but regain the smile I had. Was Cynthia going to be ok with this? I don't know why, but i had the feeling she wanted to know if i had a boyfriend for some reason. I lowered my smile a little into a small sweet grin and waited for her reply.

She what? Cynthia angerily thought to herself, still keeping a fake sweet smile on her face. She was getting married? So soon, I just saw her? And she does not know and what is this? Her fake smile was slowly sinking, the muscales in her face were working hard to keep it straight up.

"Oh that is great!" Cynthia hissed, still in a sweet voice. So she should just forget it all? No she should forget about her crush... maybe? But if anyone was going to have her, it needed to be a good enough person. Well I will try my best.

"So who is this boy? Where did you meet I want to know everything!" Cynthia smiled, adjusting her legs towards with Alexandria. Almost gripping her fists together in a fury of maddness. A deep breath cooled her down, she was not this kind of person but she did need to know. The boy probalay was not even rich![/blockquote]

I giggled as she congratulated me. I couldn't help but smile some more. I couldn't help but sense the tiniest bit of hostility in her tone. SHe must have been jealous, or angry? It is natural for girls to be jealous when their best friend finds a guy. It's all girls want anyway, to be loved.

"His name is Gortan Cande, and he actually dove in the water at like, twelve o'clock at night to save my fishing rod from being pumeled by waves. I don't know, it just clicked after that. Love at first sight? Anyways, after that we went out a couple times and we like eachother a lot. He was about to volunteer for the games though, becasue he spent his whole life training for them, it was kind of his dream. But! But he didn't! he gave up his dream to be with me. Becasue he loved me. And he gave me this, it was his mothers, but she died, and his dad fled his family. So he's grown up in a group home." I said a bit dreamily. I showed her the ruby pendant necklace. Holding it delicately in my fingers. I looked at Cynthia. she looked a bit frustrated. I don't know what for though. Shouldn't she be happy for me?
