As he stands under the falling white beams of light, he observes himself in the mirror. He is aware of the heavy scars that dance across his back and neck, but he is also aware that the worst of them are rarely seen. Other than those few that are always seen from the revealing of skin even when wearing a shirt, that majority of the time says otherwise; save for the few hot days where he is without a shirt.

Lifting his ocean blue eyes lets him see the strangely inherited hair that he has. As much blonde mess that is rarely cared for, it looks fair. But if one were to run their fingers through it, they'd surely be disgusted. He glances over at the shower next to him, knowing that a miracle would occur if the water were to actually come on. He takes his hand and drags his fingers through the oily locks, rubbing the tributaries of the hand together after finishing.

Consciously, he takes his index and thumb and spreads apart his lips after leaning closer to the mirror. The yellow pieces of bone have built up plaque from many months, the dirty brush that sits on the sink in front of him goes unnoticed. It's used nearly monthly, but he always makes sure to swish around a few swigs of alcohol as a substitute for mouth wash.

He takes his hands and holds them out in front of his face. The slight tufts of hair are usually not seen unless under bright light like the light he stands under. He does not enjoy the not-noticeable hair in some places and the more-so noticeable hair in others. He takes these hands and balls them up into fists. Deeply, he inhales through his nose before letting that air slip out of the entryway. He moves the recently observed hands up and down his bare chest, the smooth skin feeling much better than the oily hair.

His body is heavily refined. A definitive 6 cubes protrude from his stomach even when not flexing, from days of forced work and days of volunteered hunting. He turns slowly so that his back faces the mirror, lifting his head up and over his shoulder so that he could view his back, the acne that created a speckled mess was not so very attractive in the first place, and even less attractive when a massive load of scars seemed to lead their placement.
