Lyra Alchinex; District 8 WIP

Her appearance is as if she was a doll. Her light blue eyes shine in the day light almost if they were made of glass. Her lips always forming a pout when she's not trying. Although she has white pearly teeth; she never prefers to show them.

Her skin, now, as smooth as it looks and the light color, almost makes her skin look like porcelain. Only if she didn't have so many injuries would she ever look like a doll. And her freckles ever so scattered across her own body, mainly on her face give her that additional touch.

Her hair is of a darker brown, almost a black. Considering her hair is such a dark color it attributes her glass like eyes, or in medical terms her ocular albinism. She prefers to keep it straight and long, which makes it easier for her to hid her face in.

~~~What is wrong with what I wear?~~~
Her size even compliments her doll-like-attributes. Standing at a size of 3'7”, she will never truly grow out of her small size. Along with her short height her figure is smaller and more fragile then of that a normal child at age 8, this is caused by her lack of eating. Often times she will try to eat, but will almost always throw it up. This being caused by a disease known as GERD.

Along with GERD she has several sleeping disorders. Several of those being Night Terror, sleep walking and sleep talking. If she gets too worked up though her epilepsy will kick in and she'll start having an attack.

She will often favor comfort over appearance, clothes wise at least. She finds that she prefers loose fitting clothes, often brightly colored in pastel colors such as light blue, white, lavender, light yellow, and even occasionally pink suit her best and give her more of that doll like appearance.. She prefers flowing and losse clothes so she twirl around in it as much as she'd like, and it makes her look innocent enough to the point where people won't think much of her stealing things.

yra's parents, started out as just as friends when they were . Then when they were dared to spend '7 minutes in Heaven' at a slumber party at which Tristian, Lyra's father, crashed the party. It was shorter then 7 minutes before he got into her Kianna's, Lyra's mothers, pants. And therefore started their rough and rocky relationship made out of lust but no love.

Soon Lyra was brought into this world as an accident, along with her two other older twin brothers..Out of a single set of prematurely born triplets. She was the only one that survived past several days, which was rare considering her numerous mental illnesses. To counter that affect Lyra had 'supposedly' died several times before fully coming out, and a couple of time during her beginning days at the hospital. Overall Lyra was known as a miracle child.

Later in her life, it just got worse, her parents always left her and her siblings alone in the house with no supervision. Sure it would have been fun if she wasn't the youngest and wasn't always picked on, if her parents left days on end it would have been even better, but not the best. Still it was sufficient, even though she never got to go to an actual school it was alright, considering she would have just started soon.

It wasn't until about 3 years ago that her parents had done something that would change her life drastically. They allowed her siblings outside to play, but kept her inside for one simple reason. They let her sleep, and while she was sleeping they locked the door so their other children wouldn't be able to get in. Before they could do what they planned, she was awake. Almost fully aware of what they were going to do to her, she took in a deep breath and screamed. Allowing tears streaking down her face, she ended up being whipped and beaten. Then almost as if a miracle, the peacekeepers came. The bad thing was that they were friends of Lyra's parents and decided it would be more fun to beat her up, leaving her damaged and bruised. Soon after wards when they were finished with her, they left her there and abandoned her...Pretending to not know a thing about the little survivor who lived through a rough childhood.

They allowed her to stay there locked up in the attic. Silently she fell asleep up there. Later on, she could hear the cries of her siblings and the growl of her stomach. She decided at that moment, it was either live or die. She broke the only window in the attic, and slid down the shingles ignoring the pain that she felt from the beating, the glass in her hands, and the burn she felt from the shingles. Now was the tough part, getting off of the shingles, and either into a tree or landing on the ground safely. The time quickly approached, and she jumped, stretching her small figure as far as it could go. Without much nutrients in her body, she failed to get to a tree and was stuck in mid-air and preparing to land on the ground. She crouched into the best position that 5 year old could, and hit the ground in just the way that she broken her right arm.

She has multiple sleeping disorders which often cause complications. Night Terror, and sleep talking, along with the rare and occasional sleep walking. (She is often very indecisive and is often very picky, henceforth adding to the fact that she won't eat very often and her stomach will often growl.) Causing peacekeepers to think that Dimitri isn't taking care of her properly, when in reality he is. Well atleast as best as he can. She also has slight case of epilepsy, meaning from time to time she will have epileptic seizures.
