District/Area: District 11
Appearance:
Nicki is a middle height teenager. She is fairly thin. She has long, strong legs that are great help when she needs to run and get somewhere quickly. Her skin is very pale compared to most as well.Personality:
Her hair goes down to her shoulders and is strawberry blonde. Her eyes are hazel. She has a few very light freckles around her nose and cheeks.
Funny: Nicki likes to try and cheer others up when times get tough. She doesn't like to see others sad. She has a strong hatred towards the district, but she keeps that in her mind.History:
Active: She often races around with friends, using her long legs to her advantage. She has to do this on her free time though, as she has to work on the orchards daily.
Hotheaded: If you mess with her and really annoy her, she can become very angry. She can make people cry with her harsh words, but a day or two later she goes all over herself apologizing.
She started out, a wonderful child, a beauty to her family. She had no older siblings, and to this day does not have any younger siblings. Her father, was made an avox after he had beat up one of the District's members, after getting annoyed that the man would not lower the price for some bread. Her mother, never mentioned this to her though, weary of what Nicki would think, and what the other children would think.Codeword: oDair
As Nicki continued to grow up, her mother grew ill, constantly needing help from Nicki. Nicki's mother soon passed away, leaving Nicki's heart heavy with despair. Nicki was helped by the townsfolk to get out of her sadness, and was soon back to normal, although she will never forget her mother's slow, painful death.
Nicki was now 12, and she was very nervous. She was now old enough to be in the reaping, and she was positive she would be picked, and she would have no shoulder to cry on, and nobody to come say goodbye in that final hour. To much relief, she was not picked. And so, she continued on with her daily life, taking care of the house, playing with friends, and working in the orchards.
Then came her thirteenth birthday, and the reaping. She was not picked again though. She was relieved again and went back to her usual life.
She has just recently turned 14, and is waiting with great dread for this years reaping to arrive. She wonders if she will be picked this year, like she does every year.
