Persephone Brillick, Capitol {WIP}

My first memory takes place when I was three. I was tagging along after my two oldest siblings, Ness and Shar, and my mother who was carrying my new baby sister, Hyacinth, in the park. I remember my light, light blonde hair bouncing around in big curls behind me. I remember my bright laugh ringing out around me, just laughing for joy, and I remember wondering why, for the first time, nobody looked back at me and asked me why I was laughing. Not even my big brother that I constantly relied on, Shar. That was the day things started changing.

When I turned 12, I couldn't stand my light blonde hair. It reminded me of my happy child hood which I missed so much, the child hood where everyone paid attention to me and loved me and how that had all changed in just a few years. I just had to get rid of it or I would fall apart. So, one day, I went out and got my elbow length curly blonde hair straightened and dyed dark black with red streaks through it. It didn't even piss off my mom when I got home. That was how I knew that no one cared about me anymore.

I have bright blue eyes with pencil thin eyebrows and long eyelashes. I hate my eyes but I refuse to change them. The eyes are the most important part of a person. If you change them, you've as good as lost your identity. Sometimes I wear contacts that make my eyes a dark shade of green that I love. But I would never surgically alter my eye color permanently. Never.

I'm tall and naturally thin but not wiry. I don't have many curves though. I'm 5'8" and I weigh 126 pounds. When I was a kid and went outside a lot to play with Ness and Shar, I was a cute shade of light tan. I don't like to be in the sun as much now, I like to be indoors or in non-crowded shops more, so I'm pale but not extremely pale.

My face has soft features. My cheek bones don't stand out. My nose is curved up slightly on the end like an elf. I have absolutely no freckles. None. My eyes are the shape of wide ovals and my ears are too big for my head. My ears are my only stand out-ish feature on my face except for my lips. My lips are a striking shade of natural dark, dark red. They're full and very pretty, especially when I smile. But I don't do that much anymore.

My shirts are usually just roomy t-shirts. I always wear them with capris and black ballet flats with soft, white socks. Sometimes though, I wear blue, soft, stretchy jeans that mold to my legs. I wear those with semi-tight shirts that are always dark colors, and forest green converse sneakers with black laces that I treasure.
