Just going joggin- OH HOT DAYUM! [Vic]

It was a typical day for Victory. Her traininng schedule, the path she took while running, to the way the clouds floated in the sky and how the birds sang. Everything was exactly the same as always. And how boring was that? Isn't it good to have a little change every once in a while? Didn't people go mentally insane from being in the same sittuation, feeling like there life was on repeat? She stopped dead in her tracks as soon as the thought crossed her mind. There was no way she was going to allow that to her. Mentally insane was not her forte. Throwing knives, yes. But having people look at you like you were crazy? That was not something she could handle. She preferred when peoples' eyes met hers in fear or it admiration. The guys went ga-ga for her. And she knew how to flaunt her stuff.

Vic started running again. She knew she needed a change and fast. It's not like she could get out of the district. That would sure be a change, but why would you want to leave District 1? Where everything is rainbows and gumdrops, or so she heard. A change in family? That was to much paperwork, and besides she gets everything she wants. A change in guys? Nah, she does that enough as it is already. Right about she would take a change in anything. Even if it was the water she was drinking. A change, that's all she wanted. The smallest thing,it didn't matter. Something to get her out of this continous lope that she is supposed to call life.

She took a little break again, taking a sip of her water that she carried with her, hoping that it would taste even the slightest bit different. As soon as it touched her lips she knew it was the same. She spit it out in disgust. Then throw the bottle on the ground. Would anything ever change? That's when she saw it. A small opening between two bushes, not something you would see unless you were looking for it. It seemed to be an area not many people desired to go. Or were allowed to go. Victory isn't exactly one for following the rules. So she pushed through the small gap, wondering what she would find on the other side.

Victory stopped and stared, what she was seeing and what she thought she was going to see. She had never know this part of her District existed. It was...gorgeous. There was no other word to describe it, but surely it didn't do the scene any justice. Vic had always thought that the District was just cobblestone streets and landscaping. This was an area like no other. There were trees everywhere that were so green you would have to think they were fake. There were flowers all over. Not the fake looking ones in peoples yards. These were real and their colors were so bright they hurt your eyes. She also saw a dirt path that seemed to go on forever. She decided to run along that instead. She was looking for a change and this was one, wasn't it?

It was a good thing Vic wasn't wearing a pair of her expensive heels because they would been totally trashed by now. The path she was on was so muddy. And she always seemed to find the worst areas. There was mud splattered up her legs. She actually felt gross and just wanted to go home to take a shower. Sadly, she hadn't found another opening yet so she kept on running. At least this is a good workout... she thought. She would sure be conditioned for the games. That's when she heard someone coming up behind her. Great, with her luck it is a Peacekeeper coming to yell at her. Then she would need to pay them off and as a result she would lose shopping money. And that was not cool. It also could be someone passing her in an effort to try and show off. Which wasn't cool either, but she was used to it.

What she wasn't expecting was someone trying to catch up to her so he could talk. Not that guys didn't do that all the time, it's just that they normally didn't try it when she was training. Maybe it was because she looked a little intimidating? Another thing was she wasn't exactly in the mood right now. Victory felt gross and tired. So all she wanted to do was go home and eat so she could start the next part of her schedule. When the kid stopped and started speaking she was surprised. She didn't stop her running though, she needed to get in as much exercise as she could. However, she did slow down a bit. When he started to speak she mentally rolled her eyes. Why did all guys seem to get tounge tied when talking to her? Well, not all guys. She could think of one who got the least bit tounge tied when she was near. Being in a polite mood she decided to answer. "I'm Victory," she said glancing back at him.
