Weep for yourself, my man,
You'll never be what is in your heart
Weep Little Lion Man,
You're not as brave as you were at the start
Rate yourself and rake yourself,
You'll never be what is in your heart
Weep Little Lion Man,
You're not as brave as you were at the start
Rate yourself and rake yourself,
```Tiberius Haze
Death was not uncommon in this world; it seemed to surround this little district holding it to its very roots. It was what pulled people apart, or kept the few families functioning alive. It was a mixed idea in this cruel world that death was bad. Tiberius did not believe it was bad, on the contrary to him it would be his escape from the continuous pains in his life. Maybe it was why he looked enviously at the cold, dead body in front of him. But then death was also most unwelcome, it was life that Tiberius would need if he was to ever have his chance with Shadow. If he was dead he could be forgotten and the young boy that Tiberius so dearly loved would move on. So no, death was not what he needed at the moment.
He didn’t believe it was right that he was at this funeral. He knew none of the people there, but he had gotten rid of this person, he had thrown out and chucked him away for the others to find. It was not his fault when the boy they hadn’t paid up for his drugs, Tiberius sold the drugs and handed them out and he expected payment. He is generally a great guy, but when people –like this boy here- don’t pay up for their shit? He gets really pissed. When he gets upset he does stupid things and this idiot here had landed on his bad side, nothing good happens on that side. The people around him wept and sobbed, crying over the cold body of the boy. Slowly they left the room one by one as the body would be left to be prepared for the funeral which was merely a few hours away. Tiberius would not stay for that.
Grey eyes gleamed in the dull lighting of the building. A smirk was drawn from the boy’s lips. From a distance you could see that this boy was happy, there was nothing sad about his tall proud figure. Not even the sight of a dead body in front of him proved to create any sign of sadness. There was humour on his face, and in the deep depths of his grey eyes gleamed that spark of joy, he found pleasure in the pain of others. His hand moved swiftly out from under the shelter of his jacket, it was made of leather and just reinforced the notation that this boy had power, and he did. He placed his hand on the dead body’s cheek, his fingers poked it, it was soft and colder than ice, but than most dead bodies were like that. He pushed down harder, his fingers sinking into the soft white skin of his most recent victim, a laugh tore from his lips and he poked the still figure harder watching as each finger bite deep into the flesh.
”Did you learn your lesson, boy? Do you finally see that you can’t cheat me?” His eyes flicker to the boy’s chest. He wore a long brown jacket, worn with holes running through the length of it. But Tiberius didn’t care, for her knew what lay beneath that appearance, long snake like cuts travelled the length of this boy’s body, deep wounds that ran thicker than a finger. The wounds were deeper than the blade he had used to stab the man, numerous amounts of times. It had been fun, it was always fun. Killing people wasn’t what Tiberius did. Tiberius was a drug dealer, just like his partner Shadow. As always thoughts of the boy brought a scowl to his lips and he yanked his hand away from the dead body, shoving his hands into his pockets. Shadow, the boy he loved, the boy that he had killed for. If only Shadow knew how he felt, but he couldn’t tell him, they were drug dealers, and a relationship only went as far as selling the drugs, besides bad shit happened in those kind of relationships, someone often ended up dead.
Tiberius and Shadow had been in the drug business for a long time, years and years had passed, and they had always worked together to bring in the big profit to support one another, they were best friends. Tiberius wanted more. He lets out a heavy sigh, you didn’t get much in life, especially in this world so he would always hold onto the hope that Shadow would one day turn around, announce his love and then they could be together, some dream. He thought bitterly. He sneers at the dead body. “You’ll never have love, you’ll never have anything!” He said with a cackle. He tugged his jacket around himself tighter, this wasn’t fun anymore. “Well old chap, I better be off. I have drugs to sell and people to kill, have fun in that hole in the ground.” He reached down and grabbed the man’s hand. With a sharp yank he pulls the arm up and roughly shakes it. “T’was nice knowing you.” He snickered.
Take all the courage you have left
Wasted on fixing all the problems
That you made in your own head
But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
Wasted on fixing all the problems
That you made in your own head
But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
