When the daylight comes do you feel it
Leave your bag of bones underneath your bed
Everything is as it should be
I'm leaving now as I should be
No way, no way
Last night, Alaska got lost. While the antivenom was surely working, it still wasn't wearing away as fast as she sought it to be. Staggering steps and slurring groans each time she moved forward, but she knew she couldn't go back. Bran and Curtis were lost somewhere else in the Labyrinth, but maybe it was better they were lost. Eventually, the statues were gone and all she saw was the mud sticking to her socks. The water dripping down reminded her of melting icicles, and she longed for it to be that cold, because it was far too hot. Her mind started working again, and her legs weren't as tired. The bag at her side was inseparable, and she kept eyeing her knives incase the time came to use them.
Eventually, she remembered Bran and Curtis. Frantically, she tried to remember where she saw them last. They - well Curtis carrying Bran - weren't making any footsteps, the only audible sounds being the dripping water and the sloshing mud every time Alaska took a step. Not daring to look back, Alaska kept moving forward. Eventually, Alaska found the river she was at on the first day. The cool waters refreshing yet haunting. Her snow white dress was now stained with blood and mud, so the dirtiness of it was now the least of her worries.
Eventually, Alaska found a place to camp, and it would be good, for now. Getting situated, she lied out everything she had. Knives, water jug, string, and ever other item in there. Alaska tried to sleep, but the Anthem kept her awake. When the song faded, no faces appeared on the screen and she knew what that meant. Tomorrow will be a bad day.
She realized she couldn't stay there, it was far too risky. Everyone would want to be by a water source, so she tried to get away from there, but she ended of staying on the coast of the swampy river, trying to not get lost. One moment she was fine, and then next moment she heard noises and stopped in her tracks. The girl from Two. The girl from Eleven. The girl from Twelve. I didn't know what to do, but I decided to try to hide from them, to just sneak around. I didn't want to cause any more trouble than needed.
