It All Started In A Cave

Long ago, in a cave high up in the mountainous region of District 2, a girl slumbered. A young thief, chased off by the citizens. She had stolen the hearts from many with her fragile body and long blonde hair. But she had also stolen more. Weapons from Peacekeepers, money from families from the upper part of the District, and food from rich and starving families alike. She was labeled as a seductive vermin, and was wanted for dead. Her name was Pire, named after the snow on the top of the mountains due to her pale skin. Pire had managed to find a cave and hide, laying in wait for her name to fade away. But as she glanced around she noticed the bones.
[/size][/font]Cracked, ancient bones. Antlers, too. She had no idea that the cave had once been populated by wolves long, long ago. She shrugged it off, knowing that whatever had left the carnage was long gone. She fell into a peaceful slumber, as snow roared and cascaded from a grey sky outside the cave. But, in the middle of her slumber, a man slipped in. Hair as black as night, tanned skin and piercing black eyes. He was like a God. Wolf-like, almost. Yet instead of a fierce air around him, he had a seductive one. He practically glided over to the fair blonde lass that slumbered in his cave. He loomed over her, until her eyes fluttered open.
[/size][/font]She shrunk back, cowering against the wall. Fearing the man was one of the angry townsfolk. But he just smiled in return. Teeth that could blind. She gasped, as her heart started to beat. And before she knew it, she was hypnotized by his beauty. He took her there, in the cave. He gave her one night of fierce passion. But, when she awoke the next day, he was gone. And there was an already forming bulge on her abdomen.
For nine months she lived in that cave. She survived on rabbits that pranced on the mountains, and on the rats that scampered around. By the time her body was ready to give birth, she was an grotesque beast. It was like the man had stolen everything away from her. Making her a monster. She was a skeleton, but with an abdomen that was strained and huge. She screamed as she birthed. The pain was horrible. And she knew she would die. And by the time the eighth child was born her eyes sunk in and she convulsed. She was dead. But eight children, octuplets, were alive.
[/center][/size][/color]The children, screaming and crying were without a mother. They would surely die. But, on a day of a full moon, when the babies were taking their final breaths, their father came back. He grabbed the children, taking them all up in his strong arms, and ran down the mountain. It was night-time, and everyone was slumbering. The man kissed the forehead of each child before placing them on the doorstep of the Community Home. He then smirked darkly, knowing his legacy would live on. Then he turned and dashed off into the night. Back to his cave.
[/center][/size][/color]The woman who was in charge found the dying children the next day. She screamed and quickly made the other orphans help her bring the eight children inside. She got 7 of the oldest girls there, and they helped the woman feed the children. They saved them. And the children would live. But there was something inside the children. A dark fierce fire, and animal instinct. These were no normal children.
[/center][/size][/color]They lived there for 16 years, always standing alone with a pack-like air around them. They had one leader, the "oldest" daughter, who seemed to be what some would call an Alpha. There were three boys and five girls. They lived as one, and were a family-oriented pack. They didn't care about anyone else, and only loved themselves and each other. Each member had their own special traits and personality, and they all held a significant role in the pack.
[/center][/size][/color]They left the Community Home and found a small, worn-down house on the outskirts of the District by the time they were 17. They helped each other, fed each other, and loved each other. Just like any wolf pack would. They each became Careers. After one day sneaking into the Training Center and realizing how thrilling it might be the one day make it to the games and spill blood of the worthless. They are a dark family. An odd family. Are they mistakes? Perhaps. But they will take over District 2, and perhaps all of Panem, as one.

Presa Volk- 17- Presa is the Alpha. She is a cold young woman with a wild appearance. Her skin is a snow-white pale like her mother's, but she is the only member of her family to have dark brown hair. Not blonde or black like her other siblings'. It as if the colors of both of her parents's hair formed together to make her's. She has narrow, spine-chilling eyes and a sharp face. She is the very soul of ferocity. She doesn't like to talk a lot, and some would deem her a snob. She'll growl and snarl at times if people approach her or her family, and generally dislikes everyone but her family. She's ruthless and sharp-tongued. She knows she's in charge and her siblings do, too. (Played by Belle/ Song: She Wolf by Shakira)

Rosnado Volk- 17- Pretty much the Alpha Male of his family, Rosnado strongly resembles his father. He has hair that is black as night, bright and pure teeth, a strong body that appears to be carved from the finest stone, but he also has shockingly pale skin. However, this almost makes him even more handsome than his father. Rosnado is very smart for a family as poor and primitive as his. He is just as fierce as Presa, but more lenient around people. He's quite the ladies' charmer, and seems to always be looking for his own mate. He will snarl at any man who approaches a girl he is courting and will sometimes attack if cornered or angered. He's a ticking time-bomb of sorts. (Open/ No Character Song Yet)

Megera Volk- 17- Megera is almost like the female version of Rosnado. Except she is a bit more ditzy. Which is funny considering she is a blonde. She is tanned like her father, and has pale blue eyes. She is very beautiful like her mother, and seductive. But she's more playful than the other members of her family. Preferring to play with boys than try and find a mate. She's vain, yet still kind compared to some members of her family. (Open/ No Character Song Yet)

Pel Volk- 17- Pel has shaggy blonde hair and tanned skin. He has a firm body and a proud appearance. He is kind of like the dumb jock of the family. A basic career. He trains and trains, and longs for a chance to be in the Games. His family sometimes teases him but they love him. He is the strongest, and rather handsome. (Open/ No Character Song Yet)

Neve Volk- 17- Neve has short pale blonde hair and pale skin. He is more lithe than the other two boys in the family, yet very agile and fast. He has sharp features and pale blue eyes. Though he is slender, he is still strong. But speed is his main skill. He is quiet and a bit of a loner. (Open/ No Character Song Yet)

Lúa Volk- Lúa is like Neve in the terms of being a loner. She's cold like Presa, and rarely talks. She has waving black hair and black eyes. Her skin is pale and she almost always has a scowl on her face. She's like Pel in terms of longing to be in the games, but is also like Rosnado in terms of smartness. She's clever and fast. She's basically a mixture of all of her family members. But she is anemic, and slightly weak; so that rules her out of being an Alpha. (Open/ No Character Song Yet)

Inocencia Volk- Inocencia has shoulder length blonde hair and big blue eyes. She is pale and has a natural blush on her cheeks. She always smiles, and is the kindest member of her family. She's pretty much the odd one out. She's very gentle and hates violence. She feels like a girl trapped in a portrait of a family she doesn't belong in. Her family deems her as the weakest but Inocencia is actually one of the bravest members of the family. (Open/ No Character Song Yet)
