A few years ago, an up and coming DJ named Thomas Carmichael AKA Twitchcity started the LOWSI movement; a movement centered on strengthening the youth and vitality of Panem’s Capitol. Carmichael has always enjoyed the ability to express himself through art and music, and enjoys the emphasis that President Snow and the rest of the government place on aesthetics. Not having to worry about hunger or poverty, Carmichael doesn’t want that to change, and has enlisted the help of many other artistic teenagers to spread the message. Keep things the same; the dispersal of resources between the districts and the capitol would only mean bad things to come for the youthful Capitolites. Rebelling is so yesterday.
LOWSI is a very hipster-centric group. Hair dyed, up to date fashions; only the attitude is very different. They thank the Capitol for giving them everything they could ever need. They’re almost like a form of un-intentional propaganda. While anyone can join the LOWSI movement (feel free to RP that even if you aren’t selected, just please don’t go overboard), only a select few can be a part of the figure-head group that appears in advertisements. They need to have either some artistic talent that would get them noticed by LOWSI, or they would need to know somebody in the group.
I’m looking for 5 or 6 talented writers and role-players to start, this is not a first come first serve kind of thing; its completely audition based. I would like to see what kind of character you would like to play, and your style of writing. So, as a fun way to do things; write 3-4 paragraphs in a scene at a club, rave, or art-show where your character does something fun or extraordinary to potentially get noticed by a LOWSI member. If they get noticed, I’ll let you know; if not, you have something to work off of for a new character anyway!
