Anthem - Day 5

Night brings the Arena into a seemingly unprecedented level of blackness. The already shadowed Arena flushes out all traces of light, and the only glimmer of hope arrives with the Capital Seal. Blazing through the sky, you have to shield your eyes because they are not adjusted to light.

The melody finishes, and the seal is replaced by the faces of the dead:

You count on your fingers to tally up the dead, and the subtraction is simple enough that even your tired brain realizes that there are only eleven tributes left in the arena including yourself. Ten more have to die if you're to make it home.

The music stops and the projection fades, throwing the Arena into darkness once more.
