He's never been tall amongst others. Topping out at about 5'8'' and weighing in at about 136lbs, Ben seems to be quite small and not very powerful. He appears frail, almost, and yet he's got such a controlling air to him that it's easy to ignore his smaller frame. His skin is coloured with a light tan from constant interaction with the sunlight, a bit of a sunburn remaining on his face. His shoulders are always pressed back due to his seemingly perfect posture, pushing out his chest only slightly. He rarely has a grin on his face, preferring to stay serious and business like. And yet, he just seems to be able to be trusted for whatever reason. His voice is commanding and eerily creepy, but it doesn't stand out around others. He can remain quiet to be unseen, if need be.

His hair sticks up messily, the dark brown locks always remaining fairly short. His face is almost always covered with a thin layer of dirt, making him appear darker than he really is. Bright blue eyes are surrounded by dark bruises and bags from lack of sleep. Golden flecks and a golden ring around his pupil add definition and uniqueness to his eyes, all thanks to a birth defect known as heterochromia. His nose bulges around the bridge as if it has been broken several times and then splits out into a thin nose point. His mouth is small as well and his lips are quite thin, usually pressed together tightly. A light dusting of stubble covers his jaw line but he never lets it grow too much, preferring to keep it short. His ears are quite large and they come off his head enough for them to stand out and be noticeable.

His shoulders are broad and as said before, pushed back due to his posture. His chest and stomach are flat, however he doesn't have prominent abs. His arms are quite long, ending in hands with long and thin fingers. The biceps are large enough due to the work he has to do out in the forests and the wild. His legs are long as well, although a lot of his height comes from his torso. They end in smaller, flat feet that he often lets touch the ground while bare. They're rough and callused from the constant contact and they feel really cold to the touch. He walks with a fairly obvious limp, sometimes carrying around a cane with him to aid with avoiding it. His steps are careful and calculated and nearly silent. Everything he does is careful and calculated.

All of his shirts consist of button ups of different colours, always cleaned until they seem brand new so he looks presentable at all times. He tucks them into his pants which are usually slacks held to his waist by a simple leather belt. He owns one dark vest and a simple tie that he prefers to keep for the most serious of days, leaving it in his bag for whenever it's needed. Round glasses sit in his shirt's pocket, waiting to be needed for reading if Ben ever gets to. His shoes are simple leather boots that have formed to fit his feet by now, comfortably supporting them as he walks around the uneven grounds of the forests that exist outside of the Districts. One jacket remains in his possession and he sometimes wears the long, black coat when it gets colder.


He's a leader in every way possible. Confidence comes easily to him but he certainly doesn't think too much of himself, preferring to just accept that he has skills and never blowing it out of proportion. He's comfortable with those skills that he has and tries to master them whenever he can. He obviously cares about the well-being of those around him and most of the things he does are done to help his tribe. However, he'd never admit that. He prefers to keep all of his emotions built up inside and to just remain as the leader they need him to be. He knows how to take charge of situations and he will always insert himself into situations in order to have the control and to direct it in the right direction.

He's always been really stubborn. He knows that sometimes he's wrong but he never wants to admit that to anybody. Ben will continue doing what he's doing until it works and he doesn't care if it ends up causing damage in the process. He wants to get things done the right way and doesn't care what he has to do in the process. Ben never accepts the opinions of others or help from others as he imagine it makes him weak. This leads him to being somewhat controlling as he will try to make people accept his opinion and route. Usually, he's good with convincing others. He probably shouldn't be trusted but he's done fine so far, hasn't he? That's why he doesn't question his leadership or the abilities he has. If he's done great as of now doing what he's doing, why change?

Ben prides himself in his skill with reading people. Analysing people and making conclusions about their personality is something that Ben has always done throughout his life, even as a child.
