Her looks were never appreciated as much as other people's. Although she was an only child, she only had one parent; and even though they were always at home, they were too busy cleaning up or doing business over the phone. Her mom had never once called her beautiful. Alexys, though, had never been called pretty. Cute. was one word she heard, but that was when she was younger; when her large eyes and pointy nose were adorable. Now, they aren't seen as anything close to attractive to people - at least to herself. Smoking and the low self-esteem she had as a teen had gotten the best of her, and had permanently left a mark on what could have been a beautiful women. What could have been.

What most people would think when they hear Alexys was a Peacekeeper is that she looks too weak, too fragile. Although that is the case; Alexys does have very bony limbs, very long legs and arms, and looks like a thin plank of wood; she is a lot stronger than you would think. Of course being a Peacekeeper she has to train...exercise is a better word, and so she does have some hidden muscle underneath her slightly-red skin. Alexys' strong point is knives; whether it be throwing or stabbing; because although she needs the strength to plunge it at the person, it is not nearly as heavy as a staff or spear, or even a gun. She can't run as fast as her longs would suggest, although she does have lots of stamina. 6'1 and one-hundred fifty-five pounds is more than you guessed, right?

Starting at the top of her head the bottom of her feet, these are her features:
Her brown hair is almost so obsidian that it appears to be a molten black, in reality it's just dark dirty color. Alexys' shiny hair would give most people the feeling that it is very oily and greasy to the touch, when in reality it is shiny off of softness and waviness. Alexys hardly ever plays with her hair of touches it unless she's cleaning it in the shower, or decides to brush it (although that does nothing). Even though her hair is very hard to manage, it still falls in order; most of the time her hair is in a bun on the back of her head, but the left-over strands fall into two groups - one on the left and one of the right - and it often looks like she purposely styles it that way. The longest she lets her hair fall now-a-days is a bit past her shoulders. She had never one dyed her hair, and Alexys takes good care of it.

Moving down from her hair is her forehead; and although it's covered by her bangs, anyone can still see it's a bit larger than average.

Next is her eyebrows, very thin, and her hair still manages to cover the tip of these. They are very light - a lot lighter than her raven-black hair - and are waxed to perfection. They seem to arch over her eyes, and move a bit when she changes her expression. Her large, beady eyes are right underneath those. Like large, brown-marbles, her eyes seem to twinkle when any aspect of light hits them. Her eye-lids are very large, and even if you can't see all of her eyes, you can see how large they are underneath the skin. The brown of her iris is much lighter than that of her hair. The eyelashes connected to her eyelids are much darker than her eyebrows, and can be easily compared to her hair. The slight mascara - the only cosmetic she uses besides acne-cream and lip-stick - extends her eyelashes and makes them stick out more. But that's the point of make-up, right? She has no bags under her eyes, as Alexys either falls asleep early, or catches up sleep when she can...if she can.

Her nose is very long and pointy; Alexys herself can't help but think of a mouse when looking at it. Her nose is often rosy from the cold, from embarrassment, or anger. Also, when she gets angry and scrunches her nose, you can see a bunch of wrinkles appear - often when she's crying, too. Her ears - hidden beneath a sheet of dark hair - are small. They often turn red in the cold, along with when she's angry. She can hear very well compared to her sense of smell, which for some reason isn't strong.

Next are her rosy-red cheeks. When she's eating, talking, smoking or breathing, her cheeks often get more plump than they originally are. Her cheek-bones are very prominent when she smiles.

Her lips are small, yet thick and plump. Always covered with this lipstick, Alexys' lips look more of a cherry shade than their original salmon shade. Underneath her lips are teeth that are very messy. They have all started to pick up a rotten-yellow color from the smoke she had been inducing over time. The two front teeth are the only crooked ones, though. The right one seems to tuck itself under the left one a little bit. Although her teeth are a tint of yellow, Alexys brushes them at least twice a day, and she had never lost one of the large adult teeth, meaning that she has all of them in place.

Her chin seemed to smoothen itself out to look good with her ovular face. Alexys has a not-too-long not-too-short neck that supports her head and keeps it connected to her body. Her shoulders are a bit broad for a young girl such as her self.

Her breasts are a bit smaller than she prefers, but they will do. Alexys' stomach is flat, and you can count one of her ribs. But, she does eat enough, and she has no sign of a lack of eating.

A tall girl has to have long arms, as her wingspan is about her height. Alexys has skinny arms, but they are stronger than they appear. When Alexys when seven, she broke her left arm, so whenever it rains it hurts a little. Her hands are very large and very soft. Each of her fingers are long and bony, and her fingernails are more-or-less clean, and they are never coated with any color of nail polish. She uses her right hand to write and use a knife and do things.
