Horatius "Rat" Descon

Rat looks very much like a rat. He's got uncooperative hair that always sticks straight off his head, a rodent-like facial structure with a mousy nose and dark beady eyes. He's scrawny with a long, thin, hunched body. His ears taper to a slight and nearly unnoticeable point, giving his face an even more rat-like appearance.

Rat's hands and fingers are long and narrow, with claw-like nails.

Rat is the sort of guy that you'd stop to stare at if you saw him in the street. He's jittery and skittish and hasn't stayed still since he was born. He always seems like he's in a hurry and has trouble keeping his eyes focused on one thing.

Rat is by no means trustworthy. He is sneaky and lies on instinct--sometimes for his own entertainment solely--and has a habit of double-dealing. His only true alliance is to the Order of Rat, which consists entirely of himself.

He's a coward. When backed against a wall, he'd shove anyone else in front of him and try to make his escape. He fights dirty when he absolutely needs to. Nothing is sacred: sucker punches, cheap shots, crotch blows and anything else can and will be used.

Rat has always looked our for #1 first. Ever since he was a boy, he's been sneaky and conniving. He has always liked to be in the know, and, while he didn't have a lot of friends besides the mutual ones as a child, he could tell you anything you ever wanted to know about anyone, probably before anyone else that wasn't involved did.

He got into his first mix up with a District gang at the age of 11, when he'd blackmailed a guy that he'd overheard mentioning a raid of a rival gang's supplies. He didn't get any money from the guy, but he did get a small payment from the gang he tipped off, as well as the foundation for his reputation.

To this day, his allegiance lies solely to himself, though he favors the Prestige and Fringe of the three District 1 gangs.
