Hi there, kids! I meant to do this on the first of November, but I got lazy and forgot, so I'm doing it now!!

November is a big month! It's NaNoWriMo, it's the month of the election, the month of Thanksgiving and for some of us, the month of weird weather. It's No Shave November and so on and so forth, but I want to declare a new holiday.

Drum roll, please!

EVERYONE APPRECIATION MONTH

Some of you may be asking yourselves:

-What is that?

-And why, why, Rosetta, why are you doing this so suddenly?

Well, here are my answers:

Everyone Appreciation Month is where we all just appreciate each other for what we do and who we are and all that fun, lovely-dovey stuff that we'd otherwise not do or even roll our eyes at!

Why am I doing this so suddenly? To be honest, I'm not quite sure, but for all those participating in NaNoWriMo a little encouragement is nice and for all those growing out that beard for No Shave November, a little encouragement is also nice. And for those living and breathing and writing, a little encouragement is always nice!

So, how about it? Can we all just appreciate each other this month? How, you may ask?

Well, you could post here, talking about a time where someone on the site did something or said something that you appreciate or you could just appreciate people in the c-box or in threads as the time comes. It's your choice!

I'll start!

Well, I appreciate our wonderful admins for running this site so fantastically and never letting anything go dull. I appreciate Kay and Cam for running an excellent Games currently and I appreciate all pasts GMs for their success. I appreciate all of the staff for their hard work. I appreciate Kale for being such a good sport when some of us didn't share the same opinions as him. I appreciate all new members for take a chance on us even though we probably scare the hell of them in the c-box. I appreciate everyone on this site for being so kind and encouraging to each other when someone needs it!

Please remember, if you're not mentioned exclusively, don't be a bad sport. Appreciate someone else and maybe they'll return the favor!

I appreciate lulu and aya for keeping this site running forever. I appreciate kay for putting up with kale and his obnoxious puppy ways. I appreciate Rosetta for putting up with my differences and not chewing me out for them. I appreciate the rest of the site because well were all family here. We all have something we all like. That is The hunger games. Now I know we can appreciate that.

First off, I appreciate Rosetta for starting this thread, and giving me a chance as in threading with me and asking me to join her alliance. I thank Aya and Lulu for putting this site together, they have created my second home and way for me to improve my writing at my own leisure. I appreciate Stare for being such a good tutor even when we're not in sessions and being an overall good friend. I appreciate Onyx who makes me feel important. I appreciate Pika for giving me advice all those times. I want to thank Kay and Cam for GMing these Games, and making them entertaining. I want to thank everyone I've ever threaded with, because they helped - and are continuing to help - me become a better writer. I want to thank Nofo, and I don't even know why, but I guess I respect her. Lastly, I appreciate the whole site for being friendly and welcoming, knowing I can always tell them anything.

To start, I appreciate Lulu and Aya for creating this site, because it's by far the best RPG I've ever been involved in. I also appreciate Rosetta for being my first rp tutor, helping me improve my writing 102%, and also just because I think she's awesome. I'd like to thank Kay because she always seems to have something encouraging to say. She also accepted my very first character (with a pretty 'accepted' word thingy, too). I appreciate Kale because he always says "Raseri <3" when I get in the cbox and that makes me feel important. I appreciate everyone who participated in the 61st games because they didn't hate on me even though back then my writing was crap and my coding was an obnoxiously red color. I would like to thank Naya for inviting me into her alliance with Fallstreak (which, in my opinion, is the coolest character name ever), even though I was total noob and it didn't end up happening. I appreciate South even though I don't know her too well, because she's so freaking musical and good at graphics. I appreciate Danny, because... well, I don't know why, I just do. I appreciate Kiara because she puts up with my super busy life and because she's lovely and always there for me to talk to. I also appreciate Arx because she wrote the first post I'd ever cried about. I appreciate Dars, Rook, Zoe and Greenbeads because I've always loved their writing. I'd like to thank everyone I've ever threaded with because you've all helped me improve my writing and develop my characters. My English scores are the best I've ever gotten because of you. And finally, I'd love to thank everyone on the site for welcoming me when I joined and making me feel so loved. I made friends from the start who encouraged me to keep trying to improve my writing. I love errebody! :D Thanks, Rosetta, it feels nice to say all that.

My, my. Where to begin. Or where to end for that matter? There is a rather large quantity of members that I would want to thank for many things, so I will attempt to mince words where I can and try to keep this post into some semblance of cohesiveness. First, I'd like to appreciate SapphiraLily for being so helpful and fun and awesome; especially appreciated for being the only person to welcome a certain noob to the site and show him around when he first joined. (Hint: his username rhymes with Parade.). I'd be remiss if I did not appreciate Lulu & Aya for building what has become a creative outlet and thriving community for so many other than myself. I'd like to appreciate the multi-talentedSouth for coming up with a family of characters that is as wonderfully macabre as the Dempseys, and for letting me be a part of it. I'd like to appreciate Cam for always being there for me in his own sometimes questionable way. Though highly inappropriate and occasionally thoroughly disgusting, that doesn't change the fact that he is a fierce and loyal friend and a boon to have to this site, whether people have gotten lost in his arener or not =)

I appreciate Arx for being such a great sport and for being one of my favorite writers on this site. I appreciate Ally for referring to me as Ron Weasley, which is something that warms my heart everytime I think about it. I appreciate Semper for calling me Eagle, Thundy for supporting me this past games, as well as simply being one of the funnier people I know, Kale for always saying hello,Elegant for being so durn Elegant, Zoe for never ceasing to make me laugh and Starefor being the nicest person in online history. I appreciate Kay for simply as motherly as she is to so many people on the site, cleaning up our textual messes, putting c-box arguments to rest and for the constant care and attention she gives all of the characters, as well as the writers behind them.I appreciate Rosetta for being as wonderfully zany as she is, from the time of the Leskor alliance when we weren't sure what to make of each other to the White Walkers to now. Rosetta, you are a fantastic writer and I'm proud to have been your ally more than once, and your friend for a good deal more than that.

And of course, last but not least, I appreciate the one and only Greenbeads for so many things. First off, I recall the time when I was a complete noob and got reaped for the 58th games and Geebs deigned to thread and even ally with me. Then of course there is the mountain of conversations about life, the universe and everything. Of course, there is also the fact that our writing and our temperaments go together like peanut butter and chocolate leading to more than a few people crowing about "Garade" and how we have become a legit site ship. I appreciate Geebs for always having had a listening ear and an open inbox, and in times of extreme character distress, even a metaphorical shoulder to cry on. No one as witty and amazingly talented as Greenbeads should ever want for friends or anything else. My hat is off to you.

There are dozens more people of whose company I enjoy in the c-box or in threads, and If I really went on, I'd be here forever. Suffice to say that being a part of this community has really given me a lot of things to think about and a lot of friends and acquaintances with which to say everything from shooting the breeze to holding full-fledged discussions about the world at large, and for that I am truly grateful.

I appreciate Luna for being my first site friend and Semper for trying to be my ally in 55th before I went inactive and Aya for being the first person to really connect with me here and Lulu for loving Aya and having flying sex with me while she is away and Pika for always having a different opinion than everyone else and being so passionate and Rosetta for being such a great friend and for our late night feelings seshes and Stare because who really is nicer than Stare and Shrimp because he put up with my entirely opposite personality and killing his tribute twice and Phunke for marrying me and loving me and sending me literally hundreds of PMs about how great I am and Thundy for being humorous and loving and always there and Saph for putting up with me anyway and Dee for being the original site Twins with me and for always being there even though we've drifted apart some and for Milkshakes and Matta for being a little prick that I can't help but love and Damen because he's a douche but I love him anyway and Marina because I love you I hate you I always want you I can't live without you and South because she came onto this site like a lightning strike and never lost her flare and Chaos for late night skypes when we are intoxicated or otherwise unable to think cohernetly and indubitably is a word and Kay because without Kay these games would be nothing and she's hilarious and encouraging and fucking phenomenal in every way and Charade for being here and listening to me and loving me even though I am inapropro and cringe-inducing and Geebs for bitching at me for like a year because I stole her volunteer spot in the 56th but getting over it and sometimes liking me anyway I guess and Elegant for arriving to the site and getting dragged into a next top model game that she dominated and that stair walking and her overall amazingness in every way and Zoe for being cute I thought and inviting me to come to NZ with her next summer but lol guys she's really not cute she's a bitch okay and Sam for being a gay whore to rival my gay whoriness and for always calling me some cute name that makes me happy and for having a nice ass and for Windy who is most certainly not last and definitely far from least because she is always fucking here and helps me forget my own life because she has an assload of problems that I am glad to help with because she deserves nothing less and she is amazing.

And if I forgot you, just know I ~~hate your fucking guts~~ appreciate you too but my fingers are cramping and I am going to eat lunch now.

I guess I'll start off with Lulu and Aya. If it wasn't for you two I would never have become the writer that I am now. You guys are seriously an inspiration to everyone. Just looking at this site, from the little things to the big things, it shows what real dedication is like. Seriously though, thanks for creating this place, without it I don't think I would have meet so many amazing people. This place is my second home. Saph you are such a hard worker, I know that you work incredibly hard and you have always been an amazing help.
