Donovan really doesn’t look much like his brother Dante. He is a little shorter, standing at 5’ 7”. He is also less muscular, probably because the role he plays on the Untouchables is less combative.

His face isn’t as thin and pointed as Dante’s, but more rounded and meaty. His eyes are blue. He has red hair, an uncommon trait in his family, which he usually keeps short and clean. He also has a reddish brown goatee.

Personality:

Donovan’s personality is much closer to Dante’s than his appearance, but toned down. He isn’t as ruthless, but is still a leading member of The Untouchables, the toughest gang in District 1. However, his role in the gang isn’t as a fighter, like Dante. Instead, he is an inventor, creating and using new technologies for the gang.

Since he was little, Donovan had a passion for machinery and technology. He has used this to create devious contraptions for The Untouchables. This isn’t to say he just sits in his lab all day. Quite the opposite in fact. Donovan loves getting out in field missions and testing new things he’s developed.

History:

Donovan was not as well liked as his brother Dante as a child. Their parents saw that Dante was stronger, and would do better as a Career tribute. But Dante resented this, not wanting to be in the Games. He took comfort with his older brother, and the two grew very close.

So when Dante left to join The Untouchables, Donovan was forced into a Career Training Program. A family in District One with no child to become a Career were thought of as bad parents, and shunned from the community.

Obviously, Donovan didn’t fit in well at the Career School. He tried to spend his time creating machines, but he was picked on. So one day, he decided enough was enough. He set off to find the one person he loved, his brother.

Eventually he found The Untouchables, and after demonstrating the devious machines he could create, was immediately accepted. The two worked together for a long time, but now, Dante has been chosen for The Hunger Games. Donovan hopes and prays he will come home safely, but if he doesn’t, he’ll make sure everybody that had anything to do with him dying gets what they deserve.
