I get out of the water and head up the shore. When I reach the soft sand I sit down. Kingston is off getting food and he took Jake with him. I lie back and watch the clouds go by. I hear splashing in the water and the waves coming ashore.

I kick the sand angrily with my bare feet, my teeth clenched and ears practically steaming. My parents have officially reached a new low. The bloody cuts on my knuckles prove that I punched the wall. Out of anger, resentment. It's not the first time. I just need something to occupy my mind. Keep me busy until I cool down. I look up, and see a girl. Do I move on, or stay and... occupy myself?

I get sand in my eyes, that I think is either from the wind or someone is close by. I sit up and look around. I see a boy who looks to be about Kingston's age. He looks rather furious and has blood on his knuckles. I know I don't want to anger him with the look of rage he has on his face, and how much bigger than me he is.
