Most of the pronunciations are fairly simple but I'll explain their names.

Well, I did a little name poll in the C-box around the time I made him and Josiah was the least liked name, so I it was perfect for my misfit career.

Razor Creel (d2m)

The 2nd character I ever created on here. Back when I joined I was searching for names that somewhat fit with the district industry and Razor just had a great ring to it. Creel happens to be the last name of a minor character in my favorite fantasy series Terry Brook's Shannara.

Really the same as the above two, Carving has a little bit to do with stone-working and Predd as well as being a minor character in the above series, was chosen because of my charries predatory nature.

Sawyer Monaghan (d3m)

When I set out to make this character, I wanted the perrienial badboy feel to him, what I eventually wound up with was more of a tragic character at odds with everyone including himself. Sawyer was chosen because I am a huge fan of LOST and he was one of my favorite characters on that show. Monaghan came from a comic book Anti-hero named The Hitman because I am also a comic book geek.

My first ever. The name was quite literally picked at random because I had no idea where to start.

These three sisters are all named after hurricanes in alphabetical order. Also, each of there personalities has to do with a portion of the storm. Katrina is rough and blustery, Irene is calm like the eye and Julie is the wreckage left in the aftermath.

Leonard Terrapin (d4m)
His last name is also a type of turtle, which I found nice for a D4. Leonard being a variation of another type of turtle. Props to you if you get the reference.

Kelly Quinn (d5f)
The name Kelly can mean war, but it can also mean lively. One of those rare occasions where you pick a name and it winds up describing the character without you meaning for it too. Quinn because I like Celtic names.

Clyde Duval (d6m)
In the 18th century calling someone a Claude Duval meant you were insinuating that they were a pickpocket. Clyde being a variation of that name as well as belonging to one-half of a famous crime duo. Works quite well considering my d6m's activities.

Edward Terill (PK)
His first name means Fortunate and his last name is a misspelling of Terror. I'll let you draw your own conclusions though it helps to read this peacekeepers bio.

Curtis Grant (d7m)
Another one of those moments where the name you pick just happens to fit them perfectly. Curtis means Polite, well-mannered and all such things which is what the character wound up becoming. Interesting yea? Grant like money grant, which is something they don't have.

Cynthia "Cindy" Grant (d7f)
Chosen because I wanted all of Curt's siblings to have names that began with a C followed by a vowel.

Caroline Wolfe (d8f)
A pastiche of a character for whom winter is coming.

Kyle Chambers (d8m)
I honestly cannot remember why or how I came up with this name.

Sebastian Rothul (d9m)

A part of Kiah's lion king plot, the name just sounds menacing to me. Like a calculating, thoughtful villain. Speaking of which, Rothul is Luthor backwards, as in the nemesis of Superman. An unintended bonus to this last name is that it sounds like a Lion's snarl when you say it too fast.

Their names literally mean Church Servant of Horses and Pure Fruit.

Strauss sounds like stress, and that's exactly what these siblings suffer from and cause. The first names were picked at random.

Cassandra "Deuce" Misere (d13f)
I simply happen to adore this name. Misere meaning Misery because the character has a rough life. Also the Deck of cards in an abandoned Alice In Wonderland Plot.

Created ages ago for a Robin Hood plot that never took off, he simply shares a name with one of the Merry Men.
