Nitya felt like hell, but she hoped that she didn't look it. The last couple of days had been very hectic, and last night had been extremely long. This morning she had worked in the store, and now she just wanted to flop down in the sand or float on the water. She just didn't feel up for much, and she was unsure where her mood stood. After dealing with people trying to take advantage of her because she was a female and though she couldn't bargain and all the other things that had happened, she just felt drained. However, she was sure that her expression was a little less than inviting at the moment.
As she walked slowly along the shore, she pulled off her tank revealing the dark blue swimsuit she wore underneath. Eventually she picked a spot of the beach that seemed calm and threw her shirt on the sand and slowly waded into the water. The feeling was immediately relaxing, and she ducked her head under the water. Immediately sounds and feelings drifted into a content murmur. She surfaced again and slicked back her hair. Then, she began to float on her back.
She looked up at the sky as she started thinking about things. Everything had gotten both so great and so complicated almost at the same time. Her hand came up to push some of her hair from her face, and as it did she looked at the bandage on her hand. It still hadn't healed completely, but in another day or two it would be fine. It seemed like it marked the beginning of changes.
Right now, she wanted to just have some fun and relax. Her mood had improve slightly, and while she was sure that she still looked a little threatening in her eyes, she knew that her mask would soon fall off again. She stood, and that was when she noticed people along the shore. She wasn't sure if she wanted to approach or not, so instead she decided to call to them from the water.
"Hey!" she called out and waved. "The water feels great. You should come in." Hopefully they wouldn't think she was insane.
