Rachel Licily ~ Avox:
I walk back over with my hands at my sides. The Capitol girl is standing in the other room. I was told to report to her for my errands. I went in and cleared of their table for they just finished their dinner. I begin to think about my cousin Blaire. The reaping is coming up and I wouldn't be able to stand to see her die. I've seen enough deaths with the gamemakers making me clean up after the tributes. I can't even talk anymore.
As I am cleaning up I glance at the Capitol girl with envy. I take the dishes over to the sink and clean them. When the games aren't going on I'm a house Avox. I have to do whatever they say and I'm forced to clean up after them. Not a kind word is spoken to me for months. The only things spoken to me are orders. I begin to think about the last games. Watching those children fight to the death. Cleaning up after the gamemakers and not being aloud to resist. Cleaning up after the Tributes are done training. No choice whatsoever.
When I'm finished washing and drying the dishes I begin to put them away. I hear the Capitol girl say something but didn't hear it properly. I didn't even know if she was talking to me. At least this life was a bit better than it was for me in the districts. I walk over to the capitol girl and look at her.
Castle Gem ~ The Capitol:
I repeat myself. "I told you to hurry up. I'm leaving soon." I look at the Avox. I stand up and smooth out my dress. I walk over to the door and slip on my sandals. I push my wavy blue hair out of my face. I give the Avox a demanding look and say "Stay here." and head out the door.
Rachel Licily ~ Avox:
I finish putting away the dishes and look out the window. I see the girl left. I quietly open the back door and slip out. My bare feet touch the soft grass. I look and don't see anyone looking too suspicious. I close the door behind be and head down the street. I pass by another house and look in the window. I see another girl. I can tell she's an Avox because- well I just can.
I look somewhat like an average Capitol girl with what I'm wearing. A sea-green dress and some bronze lipstick I took from Castle. Good enough. I realize I'm still staring at the other Avox.
