Step 1: Click this link and select your weapon. Copy the dice code into your post. Example, I will use a sword, so I will post this code (remove asterisk)

[*dice=200+1000]

Step 2: above the code, in brackets/parenthesis mention what weapon you are using and who you are attacking.

Example:

[attacks tattletale with sword]
[*dice=200+1000]

Step 3: Post. a white box will appear with a number, but you CANNOT see it in a preview of a post, so you will have to edit in the damage. this is what it will look like.

[dice=200+1000]

Step 4: Look up the damage. See the large number? on the sidebar there is an "attack damage lookup" box. Type in the number, hit "check" and copy what it there beneath the attack

The final result will be this:
