Making Friends (Open)

Petrina Reign looked out from the window to see all the children playing in the street, oh how she wished she was one of them. After the long years in the house Petrina finally thought she was ready to leave the comfort of her house and go make some new friends, since the old ones are hardly around anymore. She ran upstairs, grabbed her coat, boots and ran down the stairs to find her cat, Handle blocking the way. 'Get out of the way you stupid cat' Petrina said. Hundle just stared at Petrina with big evil eyes and she could tell, she wasn't leaving anytime soon.
Petrina stared out the window of my bedroom to hear the big laughs coming from the street outside. 'Stupid Cat' Petrina mumbled to herself, 'Won't let me go outside'. Petrina got out a notebook and started to write down a list of things to do, one being- 'Lock cat up'. The sun set had set across the whole district and the kids were starting to dis-pert from the street, when there was a bang from outside the door. Petrina jumped up from her bed and rushed over to the door, grabbed hold of the doorknob and opened the door.
Her brother was standing there with a massive grin on his face. Petrina slammed the door shut in Zeithers face and yelled 'STUPID BROTHER'. Once she was sure her brother had left, she ran straight out of her room down the stairs and straight out the door she was determined to meet someone. Luckily there was still a couple kids on the street, which means a couple more chances to make new friends.
