There's something not quite right in District 10. People come and go about their daily lives, doing their usual day-to-day things. There are workers and farmers and teachers and students. Normal, right? At first glance, you'd think so. But in this small part of D9/10, everything seems just fine. But something about that passing stranger seems familiar. And that one. And, hey, that one too. You've seen them around before, and some you can even put a name to - yet there is something else that just doesn't seem right. Something you can't quite put your finger on. Everyone thinks the same thing, but no-one can dare speak it aloud in fear of sounding insane. It's like you've known them before, in some other life.
And then the Gang was formed. Not quite your usual bunch of misfits, always seeming to land themselves in a spot of trouble somehow or other. It's not like they go looking for trouble - trouble seems to find them instead. Different in many ways – a thief, a horseman, a finder, a girl with a hood and a mad boy with hats, these feel like they’ve known each other their whole lives. So what will happen when they finally meet? When they get to know each-other? Find out that they’ve all lost someone along the way, and that not everyone is as happy as they’re cracked up to be? Realize that everyone’s happy endings aren’t so happy after all. Or even, when in their dreams, flashes of faeries and familiar faces and forests begin to reoccur?
Snow:
Once a dreamer, now a full-time thief. When she’s not at school sneaking coins and food from her classmate’s bags. Light hands, nimble fingers and a mean round-kick can sure help one in a quick escape, but a sly smirk and walls fit for guarding castles sure doesn’t help in the making-friends department. Or the get-along-with-anyone-at-all department, either. She’s just one big wall of I won’t co-operate. Bitter over her mother’s death and forced with a stepmother that seems to have an adamant life goal to make Snow’s life miserable , this once-lovable girl now struggles to find hope in anything or anyone, let alone love. Claimed by Zoe! The wonderful Ebony Frost!
Charming:
A boy who loves his horses and can herd sheep faster than anyone in the District, this farm-bred lad can’t quite help but believe that there’s just not enough in his stables. Dreams from his childhood still secretly close to his heart, he doesn’t dare share them with anyone for fear of hurting his mother’s feelings. Longing to explore, to adventure, to find his one-true-love, Charming also gets the feeling that if he doesn’t hurry up, he’ll find himself all grown up, and it will have all slipped away from him. He's not much of a talker however. He'd rather show how he feels than actually say them.
Emma:
Life has just been one big disappointment for Emma. She has no-one to rely on, no-one to comfort her. Abandoned as a baby, she was raised by parents who pushed her aside once they had a kid of their own. Now, she’s almost invisible in her home, in her life, to everyone around her. A knack of telling if someone’s lying or not, she refuses to believe that anything good can come her way. That, and living up to everyone’s expectations, everyone’s needs – everything that no-one has ever given her. That has given her a strength that is incredible and a will that is almost unbreakable. She also has a strong sense of justice and will stop at nothing to get it.
Red:
Raised by her Grandma since she was small, Red hates living in Ten. She just wants to leave the little coffee shop she works in when not at school and live life. She hates rules, loves mischief, and is always one for an argument to throw out a taste of her insult book. An attitude sharper than knives and a slightly-bizarre fashion sense, she’s always seen wandering about in her favorite red cloak her superstitious Grandma insists she wears to keep her safe. Though she does have her nice moments. When she's helping out her granny she is actually super sweet and caring. She's afraid to show her real potential cuz she afraid of her greatness.
Regina:
Regina portrays a calm, collected, cool persona. But it only hids the sadistic passionate villian deep inside. She was abused by her mother and that was soemthing she never forgot. It implanted some major trust and power issues. She also feels betrayed by Snow for something she can't remember. This only adds to her trust issues. Though sometimes Regina questions her intentions and then tries to do the right thing. All she wants is to feel loved.
Rumpelstiltskin: Tom's new baby!
Rumpelstiltsken is one full of trickery and deciet. No one is really sure what is history is. All we know is that he once used to be a good person then turned. Into what is a great question. He somehow knows everyone's secret and can blackmail them with ease and has no quilt about it. He's great with magic tricks as well. He claims to have loved once. Maybe he can fall in love again.
The app is to explain why you think you would be good for the role!
