Erik Johnson, District 12

He has brown eyes and hair. He looks skinny but he can pack a punch. He is tan and 5 foot 8 inches.

He is very fast and has good hand eye coordination. He has precise aim with throwing knives which he makes out of rocks that he finds. He loves to sneak out of District 12 and hunt with his brother and best friend. He is very wise but is more curious than cautious. He is responsible and is a good role model. He loves a good adventure. He doesn't give up easily.

Erik was born on September 24, 1997. His life has never been easy. When he was 5, his younger brother, Kyle, was born. He always looked after his younger brother even when no one else did. His brother looks up to him. His mother got sick when he was 11 and died when he was 12. His mom loved him like no one else. Once his mom died, he knew he would have to be the responsible one. His dad would come home every night drunk. His dad started spending all their money on alcohol. Once they became poor, his dad left them. When his dad left, they had nothing. His brother got sick from starvation and that's when Erik realized he had to get his life back on track. Blake was his best friend who's parents also died from sickness. They helped each other. They would go around town getting food any way possible. They would go outside the gates to go hunting. Once his brother got better, he would go around at night stealing food right from other peoples noses. Erik became very good with knives and throwing knives. His brother became very good at stealing. All three of them dropped out of school and kept low profiles. One day, when Erik was sharpening his knives right outside of District 12, he saw someone out in the bushes. Blake went back to the Hub to sell their gatherings from today so it wasn't him. He picked up his knife and walked towards the bushes. He jumped at them and he saw a girl sitting there. She looked startled. She had run away from District 11 because her family was kidnapped but she got away. Erik decided to let her stay with them but she had to help carry the weight. She was very good with healing wounds. She was 16 and she kept the boys in order. She was like their mother. Together, the four of them were able to keep food on the table and keep each other alive.

Erik has good intention and looks after the ones he loves. He will always help those who deserve it. What he needs is someone to help him though.
