Just as with the 59.5th Games last year, training is different. There are no exemptions. Tributes are limited to two stations each. Hunger, thirst, and first aid are all gone. PM your station choices to Thundy.
In addition, we are splitting up the process of reviewing Private Training quiz answers. Those with female tributes will PM Rosetta. Those with male tributes will PM Thundy. (Link above).
Training stations offered:
Blades – knives, swords, etc (+1 to damage score for all hits greater than or equal to 6pts for bladed combat, that is, knives and swords)
Target practice – ranged weapons (+1 to damage score for all hits greater than or equal to 6pts for any shot or thrown weapons)
Self-defense – deflecting attacks (-1 from damage score for all hits greater than or equal to 6pts)
Stealth - Allows tributes to sneak in to attack on their intro posts in fights. (This does not include the Bloodbath.)
Improvisational weapons – teaches tribute to make weapons out of hard wood that can be used for 2/3 damage in the arena (ie: a 6pt attack from a makeshift wooden spear would be redeemable for 4pts damage) All makeshift weapons are per staff acceptance. Without this station, hard wood can be used as a ½ damage club weapon (ie: 6pts damage = 3pts damage)
Endurance – Allows tributes to move two areas rather than one, but only once every three days.
Training Quiz -
- Keep these to one sentence only or risk losing points.
1. Your tribute sees something falling quickly from the sky and can’t tell what it is or where it might land, though it seems close enough to hit them. What do they do?
2. Your tribute comes across a bunch of random supplies strewn about. On one hand, this could be where another tribute has set up camp. On the other, it could be a trap of some sort. What do they do?
3. Your tribute receives pliers in the Bloodbath. Consider your life choices.
4. Your tribute's alliance has fallen asleep, and they find themselves with the perfect opportunity to take out several strong competitors. Do they attack? If so, what is their plan of action?
5. Your tribute is in the training center on the first day and is about to seek out other tributes for allies. What does your tribute say to convince the other tributes of their usefulness?
BONUS: Did you kill Enigma Lane? Explain.
