Detrian Elvantra-District Six

Detrian is tall (5' 9") and slightly skinny for his age. His complexion is rather pale but not unhealthily so. He has black hair that is trimly cut at just below his ears which he always keeps neat and orderly. Detrian has rather striking ice-blue eyes, and people tend to avoid his gaze, claiming that he appears to be staring into their very soul. Detrian will most commonly be found wearing a lab coat, as he is very dedicated to his work, but when he is not in his lab coat, he often wears a black long sleeved shirt and black pants.

Detrian gives off a rather unwelcoming aura. As such most people don't approach him unless absolutely necessary. Even when others do talk to him, he is rather aloof in his manner and will only tell others what he thinks they need to know and keeps all other information to himself. However, despite his manner, Detrian is very perceptive and catches on to what people are talking about very quickly. He is very intelligent, and has answers to almost any question asked of him when people do ask him things, and he is excelled in his work, doing things that even many of the adults of his district marvel at. Despite everything else about his personality, Detrian does have a certain degree of kindness. He will go out of his way to help others if they're in need of it, but if possible, afterwards he will try to pass it off as nothing. So deep down inside he's really a nice guy, the problem is, he never shows it.

Detrian was very young when he lost his mother and father in a failed test of an experiment that, ironically enough, was supposed to be a cure for tracker jacker stings, but instead of saving lives took the lives of many scientists. After that, Detrian and his one older sister barely were able to keep themselves alive since he was too young to work, and she only earned about $10 a day, but still they managed. Detrian started working at age 7 in order to help his sister. He excelled in what he did and was continuously moved up to bigger projects. So they were able to survive for another two years. Then, when Detrian was 9, disaster struck, his sister died of scarlet fever. Ever since then Detrian has become very antisocial and that is the basis of his...interesting personality.
