Age: 16
Gender: Male
District/Area: District 4
Appearance:
Sade has short, spiky, pitch-black hair and thin, slightly slanted, sharp black eyes. He’s extremely pale, which make his very dark eyes stand out very much, even though his eyes would stand out anyway in any group of ordinary people. People say his eyes are empty, emotionless black holes that give a chill to anyone he looks at. Equally dark are the clothes Sade wears; it’s as if he refuses to wear any color but black. He’s tall and thin but lean, strong and good at sports and other physical activities, not that he ever plays them. Sade almost always comes off as a shady character, even though he’s handsome and popular with the young ladies of District 4. And the other thing about Sade; despite being strong, handsome, and even wealthy, no one in the District has ever seen him smile.Personality:
No one can be sure of Sade’s personality except that he likes to spend most of his time alone in his house, where only he lives. Compared to the other houses in the District, his house seems like a mansion, and even though he could probably sell it and make himself a lot of money, he decides to stay there anyway. He seems shy and is very quiet, but only because he doesn’t have anything to say to the people around him. Also, sometimes people see him talking to himself, and tend to think he’s creepy, so they really don’t have anything to say to him either. The only people who want to talk to him are the girls of the District (they find the strong, silent, mysterious type attractive) but he never listens and he never replies. He seems to hate everybody. He seems to hate everything actually. When he’s angling (District 4 is the fishing district) and makes a catch, the first thing he does to the fish flopping on the deck is kill it by crushing its skull with his foot; but not with a quick stomp. Instead, he places his foot over the head of the fish and slowly lets his weight bear onto it, listening for each crack as the skull splits under the pressure. He seems to get a sort of morbid satisfaction from this, which scares the other fishers. This sadist behavior makes some think he should be considered dangerous, but he has never hurt a person before, and is an excellent fisher, so no one complains to the Peacemakers. However, what they don’t know is that what Sade wants more than anything to hurt other people. He’s obsessed with the idea of cutting human flesh and hearing screams of pain. When he’s alone in his house, he cuts himself where others won’t see the scars, just to watch the scarlet trickle against the pale white skin. But Sade never acts on his impulses in public. He smarter than to hurt someone and end up locked away forever or executed. What he wants is a chance at the Hunger Games. For the past four years he’s been training himself, ready for the day he could step into the arena and no longer have to hide his true personality; that of a disturbed, sadist killer.History:
Much of Sade’s problems come from his past and his experiences as a child. His mother was very young when he was born, still just young enough to be eligible for the Hunger Games. At eighteen, when Sade was less than a year old, her name was pulled from the drawing and she left her District and her baby boy to fight others to the death in the arena. She never made it back. Sade was left with his mother’s brother (he never knew his father), but as Sade grew older and began to resemble his mother more and more, he became a constant reminder of her loss to his uncle. Eventually, when Sade was eight years old and practically a young male version of his mother, it became overwhelming for his uncle. The memories were too great, and he hung himself with a fishing line. Sade found the body.Codeword: <edit by aya>
After the death of his second guardian, he was quickly adopted by a lonely, wealthy old woman and the owner of the house Sade lives in today. However, she too died just a few years later, and Sade was finally left completely alone with no guardians, no family, and no friends. The only things he still had were the huge house left for him and a very damaged heart. The first thing Sade did to try and help himself heal was to not make anymore attachments to living things; he knew they could be violently snatched away from him at any moment. He turned cold towards other people, and taught himself not to care about them; to spurn anything that would bring forth emotion. But soon, just not caring, wasn’t enough. When Sade turned twelve, he realized he didn’t just have to prepare himself to see those around him die, he had to be prepared to kill them with his own hands. So he started training. Over the years, he became much stronger, but much colder, and much more dangerous. His life started to revolve around the thought he might have to kill. And soon, he wanted to kill. He knew it would be so much easier if it was something he could enjoy. He began to look forward to the Hunger Games every year, and when he wasn’t called at the Reaping, he watch the Games on his television, carefully observing each killing, wishing he could be there, thinking of the best strategies he would use to survive the Games; the endless ways he could kill the other tributes. Sade is sixteen now, and he knows this year is his year. Because this year, instead of just hoping to be summoned for the Games, he’s going to volunteer. And he won’t take “no” for an answer. The other tributes will have to watch out, because this year, instead of just worrying about the other kids, they’re going to have to watch out for possibly the darkest contestant ever to step foot it the arena. Sade is confident he can win the Games, but the question; what will he do then? Will his obsession with killing be over or will it leave him craving more? Only the events to come will tell.

I think I overdid the History section a little... Okay, Sade is one of my darker characters (my darkest, actually) but I'll keep violence and such to PG/PG-13 best I can. And I want Sade to volunteer for the next Games, if that's okay w/ everybody (the "won't take 'no' for an answer" thing was just for dramatic effect). If you let him in, I promise not to be invinsible or kill w/o permission (What's that called? Godmoding?) and also try to keep things interesting. Anyway, thanks for reading!
