District/Area: District 1

Personality:
Sayr's head has been described as oval like in shape, and her skin as smooth and tan, in a golden brown, but it the sunlight, it can appear as if she had a even darker complexion. Her hair is a really, dark brown colour and is often very straight. Sayr will often put it down, letting her long hair flow, but sometimes she will put it in a braid overnight so it will curl, often on reaping day, so she look pretty. She has really strong and high cheekbones, that are visible on her cheeks in the sunlight. Freckles are speckled across her nose and again, visible in sunlight.
Sayr isn't tall. She's about as tall as a 13 year old should be, at 5'1". Because of her height, her friends often tease her. Her legs contribute to most of her height, her body is very short, and plus she has a short neck which does not help the height situation, either. Some people may think Sayr is pretty chunky standing next to a normal District 1 person. Although, she's not chunky. She only weighs in at about around 120 pounds, which is pretty normal. Sayr has curves, and isn't afraid to show them off. She is often found wearing tight shirts that show them off. Sayr doesn't play a lot of sports, but she does enjoy to play Soccer and is actually pretty good at it, too.
Considering her family isn't poor, but isn't rich either, she's seen worn t-shirts but still, not your average grey one. They usually have a funny or even, inspiring quote on the front of them. Her reaping outfit has stayed the same throughout the 6 years she has been able to be picked as a tribute for the games. A spaghetti strapped red dress that flows down to her knees, with a necklace with a fake diamond on it. She had stopped growing at 13 years old, and she had her mature body at 14, and the dress was big enough on her, already.
Sayr is often very curious about the world around her. She is often found wandering around, staring at unknown and uncommon plants to her. She also enjoys reading books, she doesn't care if it's about an unknown technology or even about plants, she just likes to try and decipher what it's about and share her new found knowledge with others. Sayr is a realist. She thinks what is right there, and doesn't try to find the good side to the story or bad side. She looks directly at it instead of trying to curve around it. Sometimes being a realist has it's downsides, like pointing out the obvious. Sayr is easily distracted, by whether it being a beautiful plant, or even a weird cloud that formed in the sky.
Sayr doesn't have much of a sense of humour. She'll laugh when she hears a joke that's funny, but won't really tell jokes to other people. She doesn't have a sarcastic bone in her body, and she won't crack a joke to anybody. Although, she is very talkative and will start a conversation with somebody if she bumps into them at the market, and can go on for hours and hours about a topic, sometimes even repeating what she said before. She can be very naive at times and saying stuff that she shouldn't have said, but taking it back right after. Sayr thinks before saying. Sayr feels very awkward around her family. And her only friend is her dog, Nemo, who she interacts with like he is a human being. Her parents think it's very unhealthy for her, but she's bad at making friends in real life even though she's very talkative and friendly.
Unlike most people in District 1, Sayr isn't a career. She doesn't believe in it, because all the Career training does is train you to be a fighter, when most people in the Hunger Games die of natural causes like starvation or food poisoning. That's why Sayr is kind of career training herself at home, mostly in fire-making and being a herb specialist so that if she ever gets chosen for the games (which is a very slim chance, not that she wants to be in the Games) she will be prepared to out last everybody else and make it home as a survivor, a victor, and with fame and fortune. But if she doesn't make it home, she doesn't make it home. It's not like she cares, Sayr doesn't like the way she lives her life anyways.
History:
Imolia and Jasik were an unstoppable couple. They both met each other at 16 years old and fell in love shortly after they met. Many people thought their love would be forever, and those people were correct. They grew up, and Jasik got on one knee and put a ring on Imolia's finger. They got married, and moved into a nice house that would support the two of them. A close family couple that the two had, discovered that they were infertile and could not have children. Imolia and Jasik, not having one selfish bone in their body, but also not wanting children, decided to become pregnant. And they would give the baby to the couple, Lilith and Marco. After 9 months, Imolia gave birth to Sayr, and soon after birth the baby was handed over to Lilith and Marco, where Sayr became their legal daughter.
Sayr grew up as a toddler believing Lilith and Marco were her biological parents. She couldn't remember much about these years. All she could really remember was hearing tales of old princes and princesses that got swooped off by their feet by an old lover of their's. Sayr always wanted a true love, somebody that she could keep as her own and love forever. Kind of like Lilith and Marco. And she also wanted to be a princess, but everybody knew that couldn't happen.
When Sayr was just a mere child, her world was turned upside down. She had learned that Lilith and Marco were in fact, not her biological parents. She was shocked at this information, but still loved them any ways knowing that they were waiting until she was mature enough to understand the situation. She began school, and it was terrible already. She could not write or read as well as the other kids. Her brain mixed up words, causing her to pronounce the words wrong. She soon learned she had dyslexia, although that didn't stop her from her love of reading. Her family worked hard to improve her reading. They told her to read everything in her sight. She began reading at her grade level, and her love to read began growing.
Sayr turned a teenager, and that's where her life came to a big decision. One night while Sayr was sleeping, she swore she heard a scream. But when she got up, she saw her adoptive parents sleeping soundly in their room. But, when she woke up, and got herself breakfast because she saw that her parents were still sleeping, Peacekeepers banged on her door. She opened it, and the peacekeepers asked if they could come in and examine their home. Sayr said yes, not wanting to defy the peacekeepers and get in trouble. The peacekeepers went upstairs, and were there for a while. When they came down, they led Sayr somewhere unknown. She was scared, but followed the Peacekeepers. They took her to a house that was unknown to her, and sat her down at the table and to explain things to her. She had discovered that her parents apparently committed suicide, and she was now under the care of her biological parents. She was shocked, but excited at the same time to meet the selfless parents that she had been told about. But, it wasn't great. Their relationship together was very awkward. But, they did have a dog named Nemo, and that's where she found her true best and most loyal friend. Nemo was a German Retriever, a mix between a Golden Retriever and a German Sheperd.
