Age: 17
Gender: Male
District/Area: District 2
Appearance:
Jax isn't particularly tall, nor is he short. His skin is a peachy color, perfect, except for a scar running across his face. He weighs an average 157 lbs, but isn't real muscular, losing most his strength after getting kicked out of Career training. However, he isn't weak either, able to handle heavy tools easily (with his left arm).Personality:
Jax's face is always in a scowl, eyes emotionless, mouth in a frown. His hair jets up in black spikes. A scar runs from his left temple through his eye, nearly to his nose. He tries to get his hair to cover up the scar, but always fails, his hair always returning to its spike position.
Jaxon's right side is predominately weaker than his left. After suffering a brain injury in Career training, he lost control of his right side. He was able to regain most of his hand's function, but it is still weaker than his left. Also, he is unable to run, left hobbling around, crippled
Jaxon, when he was still in training, used to be happy, friendly, and good-humored. He was laid-back and relaxed, but still easily became first in his class. His trainers said he was gifted, that he would be a legend someday. His friends were numerous. He was an idol for the younger Careers. (Although he did despise his sister Corona)History:
However, after suffering his crippling injury, he changed. He became angry, self-enclosed, rebellious. His "friends" who abandoned him and his trainers who kicked him out, those were who he hated the most. He had no friends, and he left his family. Alone, he seldom talked. People generally stayed away from him, nearly forgetting his former glory.
You could say say that Jaxon hated his life, but truth be told, he wanted to live. He was the leader of a "gang," who he needed to protect. He felt furiously loyal to his new friends, especially 7-year-old Kevin, who has lived on the streets after his family was murdered. Jaxon nearly adopted him as his own brother, sometimes even acting as a father. Not to mention, the one thing he always wanted to do, and that was to win a Games, and show his former "friends" what he's capable of.
Jaxon was born into a wealthy, prosperous family. His father was a well-known jewelry maker, and his mother was a respected mayoral advisor. His older sister, Corona, was always the center of attention at home. Since he was 6, he was sent to Career training, where he quickly rose to the top. Then, his family turned their attention to him, causing the then-9-year-old Corona to hate him. And then the accident happened.Codeword: Odair
They were having a cage fight, armed with maces. His opponent was T.J. Black, the person who hated his fame, guts, and glory the most. Jaxon had pinned T.J. to the ground, and, after the instructor announced Jaxon the winner, thrown away his weapon. But T.J. was known for his dirty tricks, and, bleeding from his nose and mouth, channeled all his hate of Jaxon into an obviously illegal hit. The mace hit Jaxon right on the temple, the spikes grazing down his face, nearly blinding him. He blacked out instantly.
When Jaxon woke up, he found himself in an entirely different world. He was now ignored by the majority of the population. Those who did glance at him showed looks of pity, not admiration. Even his own parents believed he was a failure. His parents saw it as a sign of weakness, and Corona simply loved the attention she was getting again. Unable to take it anymore, he ran away to live in the streets. There, he met a man called Xane, who taught him how to live on the streets. However, Xane was never seen again after Jaxon "graduated."
Today, Jaxon works as a miner, like the majority of District 2. He lives in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town, along with a few other runaways, from whom he quickly became leader of.
