Izar Nova ~ Distict 3

His eyes are a dark color that matches his long, dark brown hair. He's rather tall for his age and has hints of facial hair. Izar's hair normally covers his right eye and he generally looks happy. He dresses rather casually, normally in a plain colored t-shirt and the ocassional jacket. Many of his jackets have rips in them from working with various things in the factories.

His skin isn't quite tan, but it isn't pale either. He's a good weight, especially considering where he lives. Izar is one of the more well fed citizens in the district. He always tries to think of ways he can make himself look better, despite the fact he never actually does them. For example- cutting his hair. He rarely cuts it, keeping it's length rather long compared to that of most boys.

Izar is a practically hopeless romantic. He tries to do whatever he can to 'get the girls' but never seems to be able to do so. He's rarely shy when he's around people he knows, but when it comes to meeting girls, that's when the 'hopeless' part of a hopeless romantic kicks in. He gets nervous, sweats, and even stutters a bit, but he means well. Girls aren't all to attracted to him either.

His personality has quite a range of things. He's not very self-confident, though he does seem to be rather confident in others. Moments often become awkwards for Izar in conversations, and many other things in general. The one thing that Izar is never afraid to do is sing. He's a rather good singer and will sing to himself when he's alone. Izar loves nature and will sit alone in the meadow sometimes just singing.

Selfish is definately something Izar isn't. He doesn't get upset too easily either- as long as you say his name correctly. If you say it wrong, you shouldn't be suprised if he corrects you in a bit of a rude tone. He's extremely caring towards his family and won't back down. Izar also almost never gives into peer pressure.

Izar is an only child, though he was not born like that. He used to have an older sister, who ended up dying of a disease that the family couldn't afford to cure. Luckily, something like this hasn't happened in a long time in District Three. Izar lives with both of his parents in a slightly wealthier portion of the District. He rarely has to purchase Tesserae for the family, resulting in his name being entered close to the minimum amount of times for a seventeen year old.

Izar enjoys singing in his free time. He generally does this when he is alone, whether it's at home, or lounging somewhere; perhaps the meadow. Izar's sister was named Meridiem, who died when Izar was 12- resulting in her being only 13. He manages to normally keep the thoughts of her days of sickness, and eventually death, out of his mind. Izar and Meridiem were very close.

The Nova family has a cat named Inferno, who they call Ferno for short. The cat has bright orange fur and he's missing part of his ear; seeing as though he was originally a stray cat. Izar also enjoys spending time with his cat. When Izar was younger he would generally hang around with Meridiem, singing and playing. This would entertain both of the children for hours on end.

His name is pronounced 'E-zar'.
