Dragon Jinx D4

Dragon is one of a set of triplets. It’s him and his brother Griffin and his sister Serpent. Dragon looks the part of a triplet but he tries to stand out in some ways. He keeps his hair a few inches longer than Griffins for instance. He refuses to wear matching clothes, but luckily his parents aren’t interested in that. His mouth is a little smaller than Griffin’s.

They all have the same nose and the same blue eyes. Both of them have ear length hair; Dragon just keeps his a little longer. His ears seem similar but he never cared enough to actually check. Dragon is actually a little taller than his brother and sister which he takes pride in and they always deny. Being a Jinx meant that Dragon and his siblings were well built. Dragon was fairly fit for a twelve year old and he is stronger than he looks.

Dragon wasn’t sure how he felt being a Jinx. He had grown up knowing nothing else and as he got older he grew more curious. He puts on a tough guy act around his family, but he has a soft side. But looking for it will only cause trouble as he often loses his temper over the subject. He refused to be seen as weak.

The secret side of Dragon that he doesn’t let anyone see is the side that thirsts for knowledge. Dragon will often sneak a book out of the house and hide in the garden to read it. He loved to read all kinds of books about all kinds of things. Sure his parents gave them books to read but they were mostly on fighting or weapons.

Dragon did enjoy his training time. Fighting was good fun and he liked to have a weapon in his hand just as most 12 year olds in the upped districts do. Dragon has always liked to use the whip. While not to deadly, most of the time, it had a lot of uses. Dragon read a book once where the hero of the story used his whip to swing across a small chasm in a temple while he looked for treasure. If used right a whip could easily be used to disarm an opponent and paired with throwing knives or a dagger, the opposition would be dead in seconds. His father gave him a whip at 10 that he loves. It is made of braided black leather. Small claws line the whip that would tear anything soft they hit, say skin. Dragon wore the whip coiled at his side like the adventurer in that book.

The Jinx family has always been large. They're all careers that reside in District 4. They decided that with such power and such a large family, they should put it to use. The parents train the children from a young age, to participate in the games. The parents themselves were never careers, not wanting to do the fighting themselves, and preferring to watch others do it. The children start training almost as soon as they can walk.

Dragon is one part of three. The other two are Griffin and Serpent. He also has a brother named Curse, who's 17, a sister named Spell, who's 15, a brother named Phoenix, who's 18, and Hex and Charm, 13 and twins. She also has a 16 year old brother named Ares and a 14 year old brother named Spear. The parents continue to train the children, no matter how much they don't want to. Normally they don't refuse.

When not training Dragon can usually be found outside or in his room. He likes being with his sister Serpent but she can be so odd sometimes that he often abandons her. He practically never spends no time with Griffin because he’s shoved so far up Phoenix’s butt he couldn’t find him if he wanted to, which he didn’t. When alone Dragon sneaks outside with a book and reads. He would die if anyone found out. They might see him as weak and being a Jinx meant that being weak was very bad luck.
