Krys Williams/D4

Krys is a very tall boy. At six feet and three inches, he is just as tall as his father. His skin is a little pale which makes his eyes stand out against his skin. They are blue but in some lights look green. His hair is brown and stops at his shoulders and he often pulls it into a pony tale at the nape of his neck. His lips are a little pinker than his father's and also stand out against his skin.

Since Krys is so tall, it is very easy for people to spot him. He also has a freckle on his right shoulder that is brown instead of black. He has a typical swimmers body but has a bad habit of acting cocky about it. His shoulders are broad and a little darker than the rest of him because when he's in the water he usually sits up with just his head and shoulders above water. He has dimples that only show when he's smiling when he is genuinely happy.

Krys comes off cocky to people who don't really know him. The people in his family know that his cockiness is a defense against the pain he feels. He has actually gone mad from the depression he felt. He has a habit of laughing issues off and bites his nails. He's been doing it since he was a small child.

He has a temper but it takes a lot for him to show it. When he does show his anger it's an insane eruption of feeling. He has gotten into many fights because of it. And many of those fights have led to him getting into a lot of trouble. He is also very impatient.

He is a very smart boy and is good in almost in situation. When it is called for he can stay almost completely calm. He uses every skill he has learned on the job in his everyday life if possible. He also is great at plotting and creating traps. He has done this more than once and there have been many people that are pulled into the water without a chance to understand what's going on. He enjoys doing it to people who he feels have wronged him or anyone else.

Krys was the first pregnancy that his mother ever carried full term. She had four miscarriages before and after he was born. He wasn't born completely healthy, he had weak lungs. When he was a toddler he developed asthma and people wondered if he would ever be able to swim. If he couldn't, then how could he work? He forced himself to be able to swim and to stay under the water. He suffered many asthma attacks during the process but when he got into his early teens his asthma vanished and he has never had an issue with it since then.

His parents doted on them as best as they could. They had been so worried he was going to pass away at an early age. He had gotten ill so often that he was barely a child. But when he grew up he proved that he was going to thrive. And after that they took more pride in him than they ever had before. And when he was old enough to work with his father, he was an absolute asset to the job.

When he was fifteen he met a girl that stole his heart. She meant everything in the world to him and at sixteen he actually proposed to her. She was Reaped, and she didn't make it home. Her death was violent and one of the most gruesome that the Games had ever seen. He still has nightmares about it a year later. He pretends he's happy but he's really just trying to get by. His parents know how he feels and want him to be able to at least have true friends again but he is terrified of losing anyone.

His cocky attitude keeps people at just enough of a distance that when they get Reaped or leave or just die on the job, it won't hurt as much. He buries himself in his school work as another defense mechanism but it also lead to him being an incredibly intelligent person. He can fix any boat and people have often paid him for his services. Being an as attractive as he is, he is constantly being hounded by females but he turns them down and seems like a sexist because he has an air of wanting nothing to do with females at all.
