Topping out at about 5'11'' and weighing 142 pounds on his best day, Ashton Kingsley is more or less in shape. His body would be considered more athletic, even if he doesn't get to use the advantages. When trapped in a room with four walls and no sense of freedom, exercise may as well be entertaining. He tends to feel comfortable about his overall body structure but never has opinions from others to improve on the bits that may be seen as negative. Ashton's face is well defined, his bone structure coinciding with the size of his face to give more depth. His cheek bones are high and large, sitting right below two dark brown eyes. Stubble grows in around his jawline slightly because of his preference to covering up most of his face. His nose is thin and and long, his lips thick and stretched further, never revealing his off-white teeth.
The most obvious detail on his face though are the intense burns. The event that altered his personality and life to how it is now will be described in depth later, but it gave him third degree burns all over his body that are now represented by scars that would send most reasonable people away, according to his thought process. He was never known as the ugly one until he received all the scars. And it scares him to hear that. His chest suffers the same thing, scars stretching across his chest and his back, covering up the smooth surface of his stomach. His arms and legs are traced with the intricate wounds, the muscle making them look thicker and slightly bulging. His palms are rough, often clammy, his fingers stretching long. His feet are larger, the base rough as well, his arc fairly high. The scars end at his extreme ties, the only parts that are generally untouched are his inner thighs, however they still show some signs of first and second degree burns.
Ashton's clothing choice is really based on being comfortable. He chooses to stay locked up in his room [even though his mother thinks it was her decision] so nobody really is looking to judge him. He tends to wear sweat pants and loose t-shirts, walking around with bare feet or cotton socks. When he wishes to be a little more casually dressed, he has various types of jeans and plaid button ups to wear, still sticking to wearing some t-shirts as well. He owns no formal outfits that fit him because he has never had anything to go to that would require that. Ashton also owns no pair of shoes because of the lack of use for them. He quite likes his clothing style because it's easy to just hang around in.
Ashton used to be confident about his overall appearance. Since he received the burns, that all changed. He now despises it, wishing that he could just hide himself forever. He thinks that everybody around him would also think he was nothing more than disgusting.

Ashton is a kind hearted person deep down. He truly does care for the people around him, which has lead him to believe that is for their benefit if he hides himself from their sights. His lack of confidence in his personality and his appearance shows through his speech though, often leading him to be extremely shy. He would definitely be considered an introvert, choosing to spend all his time by himself willingly instead of being forced to by social statuses. The silence of his room would be considered his only friend, something that doesn't seem to really bother him. He appears to have adjusted to living a lonely life, even though it sometimes causes hurt on the inside.
Ashton loves writing. it began as a nuisance for him when he was forced to do it in his schooling and eventually blossomed into an obsession that was carried out during his countless hours in his room. He began with writing small excerpts, eventually writing lyrics to songs or poems and writing complex stories that he would often read again and again, adjusting anything he wished to do. It passed his time quickly, definitely a good thing in Ashton's mind. And it helped him express his feelings that he could never share with anybody else, often expressing them to the small garbage bin in the corner of his room.
Ashton is self-diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder. He has never had any actual medical confirmation but has had enough information to see that he fits some of the symptoms. He has a general lack of guilt and remorse, the desire to lie, poor behavioral control, irresponsible work habits and sometimes a disregard for safety. He can often be unable to sit with boredom, using the writing to prevent a violent outbreak or something of the sort.
Ashton isn't confident about his personality either, as mentioned above. He feels that it isn't good enough to replace his appearance and that he is just going to be hated by everybody inside and out. His self esteem would definitely be considered as low.

Marcuss Oliver Kingsley and Harriet Jane Farhaime were both farmers on a small farm just outside of district 5's town square. They were best friends, inseparable and eventually in love. The result of their love, when Harriet was 17, was Veronica Mile Kingsley who was then followed by Ashton, when Harriet was 18. That marked the end of her children though as something went wrong internally. The family was close as Ashton grew up. However, when he turned nine, his father passed away. The emotional stress hit him the hardest, his sister seeming to ignore what had happened. When ashton turned ten, he began finding pleasure in hurting the animals that he took care of at the family farm. It began as a guilty pleasure, soon becoming a sort of obsession, something he had to do everyday.
Until his sister found out. She walked in one day when he was fulfilling his daily need. And while Ashton had pleasure in hurting animals, his sister adored animals with all her heart. That's when the emotional abuse began. And soon it turned to physical, mostly just slaps or pushes. But the most notable attack that his sister made was on the large barn that housed many animals, including the 'monster kingsley' as Veronica called him. The fire burned the barn down, rubble falling everywhere. Ashton escape with his life but was too close to the open flame, causing first to third degree burns all over his body.
His sister was sent out by Harriet, never allowed to return to her family. The abuse she caused to Ashton was never going to go away, and it actually took a whole new direction when he turned twelve. That was when he was self-diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder. He no longer had the conversation skills that he previously had, no longer being able to be in public places without showing more violent signs of ASPD. His mom wanted to keep him locked up for that reason. But instead she locked him up from the world, leading him to believe it was because of his appearance. He thinks he is a monster, trapped between those four walls.
Ashton isn't very proud of his history either. He feels as if he was living a luck of bad life, never able to get a break.
