Logan Labonte District SIX (FIN)

When he wants to be, Logan can be that type of guy that any woman would love to have. He's got a fit and toned build, jet black hair that flows just perfectly atop his head (when he takes the time to groom it.) And a smile that will make you simply melt. When he wants to be.

Problem is, he doesn't want to be anymore. Following a rather serious accident in his younger years, he was left a changed man, the shell of a man he once was, and he has let himself go for far too long.

Today the man most likely has his hair too long to do anything with other than comb it to the side, and a rather thick beard that sees a razor about once a month, and a trimmer never. He still maintains a neat appearance with his attire, seeing as how he does have a reputation to keep, but the man looks like a complete bum in his own free time, usually in nothing more than old shorts and a worn down tee shirt.

Logan is the warm, caring, sensitive and passionate man every novelist models their fantasy characters about. Calm, Cool, and Collected, with the Charisma, Confidence, and Charm needed to get him exactly what he wants. Unlike most guys with such assets, he doesn't take advantage of his talents, instead using them to get only what he wants, and then he is completely satisfied. That is... he used to be all of those things.

Today? Logan is the broken shell of the former man that was. He still has his flashes of his former self, but they don't stay around long enough to do him any real justice. Instead, he simply buries himself in his duties and has become a workoholic. It's not all bad, he's managed to excel at his job, being promoted to Senior Supervisor of the second shift of the Train Construction Facility, one of the more prominent jobs in the entire facility.

In his free time, he pretty much just goes home, gets in his reading, and then goes to bed. Though he has been seeing his beloved Roxie several times a week as of lately. He's become one of her best customers. He even follows her around the district sometimes, just to make sure she stays safe, and has been known to intervene when he feels things are getting out of hand. At least that's how he justifies it in his mind. To the rest of the world, he is the epitomy of a creepy stalker. At least he's stealthy enough that Roxie is the only one that has realized it. That kind of rap sheet could get a man in trouble.

It all started 16 years ago, when Logan was a junior in High School. He met a girl, a sophomore by the name of Fortune Nightstar. She was one of the most beautiful girls to ever grace District 6's presence. With his abundance of qualities that started with C, he was able to have the beauty wrapped around his little finger in almost no time. Of course, she had him wrapped around her little finger even more so than he did her, but he'd never admit to it.

Their relationship continued on in flawless perfection until winter break of their senior year, when they began to become more seriously involved. By the time Winter break had passed, and school was back in session, Fortune had already found out that she was carrying an extra burden for her final semester, a bundle of joy incubating inside of her stomach. Of course, Logan was overjoyed with the news, and the couple immediately began planning their wedding. It would have to be after graduation. But then the baby would be showing too badly to fit into the dress she deserved, so they would have to wait until the baby was born. Their little flower girl or ring bearer, depending on the gender.

Sadly, that day would never come. Everything had seemed as picture perfect as the couples relationship all the way into the delivery room, where things took a terrible turn. The delivery of the baby caused a rupture that led to massive internal bleeding, and the mothers life was unable to be saved. In the haste to try and keep Fortune alive, injuries sustained by baby Landon were overlooked, and he passed away 19 hours later in the hospital ICU.

A broken man, Logan spiraled into a deep depression, disappearing behind the bottle, and bathing in the drink and self pity until he hit rock bottom.

He would never be the same man again, but eventually he pulled himself out of the gutter, managing to land a job on the assembly line of District 6's primary train construction facility. 14 years passed by, and the now 32 year old man was promoted into management, given the supervisory role of the third shift. After another year of excellent service, and the retirement of the second shifts' senior supervisor, he was able to land the freshly vacant job, and all of the prestige that came with it.

Co-Workers told the man it was time to move on, and that he was missing too much by not trying again to reclaim some of the happiness that had left him, along with Fortune and Landon. Reluctantly, Logan came around and began seeing other people.

Finding interested females was never a problem, but finding someone that could even come close to competing with Fortune proved to be an impossible task. After a year of disappointing first dates, he decided to turn to the streets to find his satisfaction.

He'd met a few girls, again not finding any that were worthy of a second callback, until he came across February Caris, whom he knew as Roxie. There was something about Roxie that he couldn't quite place at first, but she was able to satisfy him like none of the girls before were able to.

He milled over and over again in his mind to see what this girl could possibly possess that none of the others had. And when going back through his high school yearbook one day, reminiscing of the old times, as he so often did, he discovered her appeal. February Caris, "Roxie" was a spitting image of his beloved Fortune, almost down to every last detail.

He began to see Roxie more and more often, each time gaining a little more of a fancy on the girl, which leads us to today. As a matter of fact, the two have a date later tonight.

This character will fill the role of "Stalker Man" in in the Stalker subplot of February Caris of the Yearlings.
