Lucan Matthews - District 7 {finished}

Lucan is a fairly tall teenager (5' 9'') and kind of muscular and fit after helping his father in his workshop. Working under the sun gave Lucan a slight tan, but nothing too special. Despite this tan and being caucasian he is fair-complexed.
He is averagely handsome but doesn't acknowledge it.

He possesses messy, jet-black hair and bright wood-brown eyes ,two very strong and common characteristics among his family since his big brother and father got them too. His sister has only similar eyes. He has a burn in his leg that acquired while trapped in his first house'e fire. When he is not working, he usually prefers wearing casual clothing, especially a t-shirt and jeans. When he is working he wears simple old clothing, usually a tracksuit or simple trousers with a shirt.

Lucan street-smart and perceptive individual. He is a quick and practical thinker. Dispite his intelligence he is very obtuse (doesn't see obvious things such as peoples feelings). He is noble, brave and kind but extremely short-tempered. He is determined and competative and that means he always wants to accomplish the goal set in mind.

He is ambitious but in the same time closed and distant and has a hard time making new friends. Also he is most of the times pessimistic and it seems always like he sees a bleak future. Having a sarcastic sense of humor and being very provocative he can enrage even the most calm person in Panem. Lucan is bossy, serious and cannot admit his mistakes easily. He is a serious character.

He terribly resents being told what to do, obeying orders and abiding by any laws. Even the law of gravity as much as he can. He climbs trees and jumps from one another.He doesn't have fear of heights but he is claustrophobic. He dislikes any figure of power and is very rebellious. His last and best plus worst trait is that he would do ANYTHING to protect his family.

Lucan Matthews was born in District 7 to Christopher and Amelia (nee Stanfield) Matthews on 18 August 1996. They also made two more childen, Birch Matthews (18) and Nightshade Matthews (13). Being a woodcutter ,Amelia's father , had a big workshop of lumber that was given later to her husband, who is also the same proffession as her father, and is destined to be given to Lucan's big brother and to him.

For now he and his brother help around the workshop and in the forest, chopping trees, a thing that makes him very proficient with blades , and especialy axes. He prefers the thomahawk his grandfather forged for him. The forest is like home to him. He loves climbing trees, thing that after daily exercise for 5 years, made him a very quick climber. His fist house was near the woods but was burned down by some arsonists who trie to burn down the forest. The fire was contained to a small area and barely touched the forest but the house was burned to the ground. Then they moved further within the District. Thankfully everyone got out and the only serious injury was on Lucan's leg that made him stop woodcutting for a month or so.

Before twenty years or so, his uncle was chosen as Tribute for that years anual Hunger Games. He made it till the final 4 but not further. That made Lucan resent the Capitol and the Government of Panem and also the ''tradition'' of the Hunger Games but what made his hatred towards all the previous erupt within himself was when a 12 year old close family friend (before 10 years, making his friend older 6 years older than him) was chosen as tribute too and didn't come back.

When he is older he aspires to become an architect. That is his life-long dream.
