Rowan Andersson, District 7 (Done!)

Rowan is the shortestest 14-year-old in the District. At 4'8", he is very quick on his feet, and is very agile. He has light chestnut hair that he likes flat, and dark choclate eyes that are always calculating, thinking. Rowan prefers to run barefoot in the cobblestone streets, therefore has a very thick pads. He has light peachy skin, and, because he enjoys swimming in a small lake behind his house, is somewhat muscular (but not buff), and very lean.

Rowan's face is very complex. His thin lips seem to always be stuck between a grin and neutrality. Little sound comes out of these lips, as Rowan doesn't talk much. His eyes are those of a thief (though he isn't one), darting around, surveying his surroundings. They have a certain mischievous gleam to them.

Rowan is the smart, mischievous, silent type of person who only talks when needed. Despite this, he is quite friendly and has a few friends. However, Rowan is pretty short-tempered, and can be agitated easily. He also hates doing someone else's bidding, which has led him to get into quite a few sticky situations.

Rowan's favorite activities include swimming, mock-swordfighting (done in secret of course), and tree-climbing. When he was 8, his father taught him how to shoot an arrow, and he practices nearly every day in his backyard, but with blunt, round sticks. Rowan believes that if he gets reaped for the Hunger Games, he should be prepared.

Rowan's fatal flaw is that he refuses to give up a grudge. This has caused quite a few fights over things as small as who gets the last cookie. Rowan hates to do things that will harm someone else, even if it helps him. Because of this, he will not kill willingly, although if he feels the need to, he will not hesitate.

Rowan was born into a pretty middle class family. He did not talk until he was 4. Instead, he was simply exploring the world, surveying his environment. When he was 5, his sister, Willow, was born. His family moved to a bit of a smaller house that year.

Rowan's father is a carpenter. When Rowan was 8, his father carved him a bow and taught him how to shoot an arrow. When he was 9, his father showed him how to whittle, though he never really had that much interest in it. His father opened a furniture store that year, and Rowan became busy helping the business. At age 12, he became the district messenger, due to his quick-footedness and agility.

Rowan exceled at school without any difficulty. The only trouble there was that he tended to get into fights a lot, which caused many visits to the principle's office. At home, Rowan spends most of his time in his backyard, swimming in the pond, practicing archery, or climbing trees.
