Tokajima Hackman - Disctrict 7

Tokajima seems normal at first glance. He has dark brown hair, and has brown eyes. He is 167 cm, and weighs 51 kg. He is not handsome, but he's not ugly either. He does not look too strong, and in fact isn't strong at all.

However, his eye colour can change depending on the seriousness of the situation and his mood in it. When his eyes turn a golden to red colour, he is angry. When they turn yellow, he is anxious. When they turn a mellow blue, he is upset or worried deeply. This is central Heterochromia iridum.

He doesn't mind what clothing he wears, but he never goes out for a long time without two weapons with him.

Tokajima is a friendly and trusting person, and is very intelligent, finding more time for school rather than work. However, this meant that he never really got enough time to develop his muscles. He likes to make friends and hates losing them. He is almost always optimistic and always tries to help others.

He is skilled in weaponry with hatchets and other light weapons where he can hold two of them, and is also moderately good with bows, particularly longbows. He learnt to use them when he was watching one of the previous Hunger Games, and had joyfully practiced, as a sport, ever since. He very easily climbs trees giving him serious height advantage. Having been born in District 7, he can make good quality wooden weaponry, including hatchets, hand-held tomahawks, and Bows, and wooden arrows.

One of his few flaws is a big one. Whenever his mood goes to an extreme level, his eyes change colour and it can make him act irrationally or differently than normal. This can lead to many problems, such as turning against friends, or becoming so sad he falls into depression and refuses to go on.

His other flaw is his is his friendliness and his trust in everyone. In The Hunger Games there is always one victor, and Tokajima might not truly understand that. This can be a problem because if he makes an alliance and then defeats all others, he would have to kill his friend(s), something he may not be able to face.

Tokajima's family has a long line of Heterochromia iridum. Somewhere along the line it seemed to have mutated, being able to manipulate his eye colour.

Tokajima was born in District 7. His mother died in childbirth and his father was left to look after him. as a toddler, he enjoyed playing with wooden weapons and often played with other children fighting them. He made many friends quickly and seemed to become the most popular boy in District 7 -- But only with the children.

As he grew up he was put to work cutting and sawing trees. He usually did everything he could to get out of it. Instead, he spent more time at school so he could learn more about the importance of peacekeepers and the reason for "the fence".

Eventually it was noticed that Tokajima had no interest in manual labour -- But it was still required he worked. He was then put to work into something that everyone thought he would love, and he did love it. He was put to work to making hatchets and saws and the like. Occasionally, a wooden sword for one of the little children.

Note this is central HI (which is partial HI) . In partial HI, the two eyes retain the same colours, but they are both like above. The Character's HI is mutated so that it is Central HI and is able to change colour.
