Bella Renee district 8

Bella is a tall and skinny. She's only 12 but looks at least 14. She's so thin you can count most of her ribs. Her hair is brown but looks red in the sun. It's long and wavy, but is usually tied in a pony tail. When she is nervous (all the time) she chews on her hair. Her eyebrows are a strange wavy shape, but her family can't afford to fix them.

Bella dresses in clothing her mom makes and sometimes things she makes herself. most of the time has her sisters bow in her hair. She has a few pairs of shoes but would rather walk bare foot. Her skin is pale from being inside. She has a small scar under her left eye. She has freckles but only a few. Bella's eyes are golden but in a certain light look greenish. Her voice is soft and sweet. When she talks it almost sounds like music.

Bella is mostly shy. She doesn't talk to anyone except her mother and her dog. Still, without words she can make anyone happy with her smile. By mistake Bella became the class clown. She is so clumsy that almost every day she falls, or makes something else fall. Also she looses everything from earrings to homework.

As soon as somebody comments on her sister, mom, dad, how poor they are, or as soon as some one else is hurt (emotionally or psychically) she breaks her silents. Something snaps inside her and she lets every thing out. All her troubles about almost everything. This tantrum can last for hours of screaming and days of crying.

When it comes to the reaping Bella is scared. Even though her name is only in the running once, she can't stand the feeling that she might end up in the arena fighting for her life. She tries to keep her mind off it, but ever since she turned 12 she can't stop thinking about it. She constantly talks to her dog named Daisy to let her feelings out.

Bella was born into a poor family in district 8. Her mother makes cloths. Her father works in the cotton field. Her sister Mackenzie ( she called her Kenzie) was the only one who looked after her. Kenzie showed Bella the beauty of the outdoors. They went into the same beautiful field to watch the sunrise. Then they would catch butterflies, skip stones or whatever else they could think of. Of course Bella would fall over into the soft grass on a regular basis, leaving most of her cloths with grass stains. The flowers and birds helped them bond. In the afternoon they would sing together and Kenzie tucked Bella in each night. Mackenzie would always where the same bow in her hair. When the family was in a crowd, it was an indicator of where she was.

For her 10th birthday she got Bella a dog named Daisy. Bella loved Daisy so much, even though it was just a stray Kenzie found on the streets. Somehow Bella found a way to make her scruffy grayish brown fur seem cute. One day when Bella was 11 and Mackenzie was 16 the two sisters were taking Daisy for a walk. Bella looked away, but when she looked back Mackenzie was gone. Only her purple bow lay in the grass.

Ever since, Bella wore the purple bow in her hair as a last memory. Most say she was killed but Bella thinks something else happened. She isn't quite sure what that is, so nobody believes her. After Mackenzie's "death" Bella's mother never lets her out side. She thought it was to dangerous. Her face slowly became pale from not being in the sun. To her home is like a prison. Her only real friend is daisy. Recently the dog is going mad. Since Bella can't go outside, Daisy can't get her walk.
