Lukas Kage, District 4

Though he stands at four feet and six inches at the age of twelve, he makes up for his lack of height in his athleticism. Capable of running long distances and pulling in heavy nets full of fish, his skinny but athletic body is composed of strong models. If modeling was an available profession, he would easily find work. Weighing only eighty pounds, he's quick on his feet and adept at climbing. Because he spends many days outside, his skin is bronze like rich honey.

His hair, brown as the rare milk chocolate, flutters in the wind whenever he's out and about. Usually no longer than the point where it briefly touches his eyebrows, it has been naturally bleached by the constant exposure to the burning sun. His teeth are flawed, but they resemble pearls with their shining clarity. The most striking feature upon the boy's person are his eyes, which are blue like the ocean. Pertaining his attire, he doesn't wear clothes but will occasionally wear his denim shorts.

Completely outgoing, the boy isn't afraid to speak his mind. Every once in a while, such an attitude could get him in trouble even with the law, but nothing fazes him from being carefree and tough. Being a fisherman's son, he understands responsibility, accepting hard work as a part of his daily routine. Earnestly, even more so ever since his father went missing at sea, he goes fishing every morning to try and find food for his mother and their friends. He also understands the importance of making and preserving money, so he is willing to work for good causes.

Being raised to not judge others and to be friendly, he doesn't care what others may think about him. However, that is a flaw in itself because he is prone to trusting almost everyone, even people that could intentionally harm him. He is packed with courage and will venture out into the wild at nights, especially if he needed to be on his own. Before his father disappeared, he would only worry about playing and being with friends, but since then he had been focused entirely into working to provide for his loved ones. He has little time to play.

In the little time that he has to play, he tries to stick with his most trusted friends. He's in love with nature and clearly shows it by the fact that he rarely wears clothes. In respect for certain people that may be bothered by his practice of nudism, he wears a pair of denim shorts. His favorite color is white, so he tends to collect white objects, including flowers and clothes. His most prized possession is a white trinket that his father gave him just before he went missing. The boy always wears it, no matter where he went.

Born and raised in District 4, the boy had grown accustomed to a lifetime of fishing and friendly people. In the early years of his childhood, he was happily spending time with his parents and their friends, especially out on the boat. He learned from his mother how to cook and clean, and he learned from his father how to fish, manage boats and canoes, and throw knives like darts. From his uncle, who always explained that they couldn't live on fish and water alone, he learned how to look for tracks but rarely hunted animals since there weren't many.

He was the boy who would rather get wet than trek through the thick overgrowth of an unexplored jungle. When the boy turned ten, his father and uncle both went out to sea to try catching bigger fish, but they never returned home. It didn't take long for him to understand they were lost at sea. However, with faith he started to work harder than before, trying to raise money not only for his mother but for a mission. Whenever the boy had a mission in mind, he was set to doing it and wouldn't stop until he accomplished it.

It has now been two years since the men' disappearance. Despite the time that had passed, the boy still believed that somewhere they were alive and waiting for him to come and rescue them. He knew how to manage a boat but the canoe that his father built for him wouldn't last long out there. Holding tightly to the trinket that his father gave him the night before they disappeared, he continued to work in the district but there was still a long way to go. He wanted to purchase a bigger boat, one that would make the voyage possible.

Growing up in today's America, he knew about the Hunger Games and the prizes the winner would receive. Despite the need of death and killing, the boy knew he was willing to try. He started to ask around and tried to get his name into the drawings so that he had a chance to join. It was during this time that a man saw him and offered to teach him archery, since there was a possibility that throwing knives might not be permitted. The boy was quick to accept the offer, wanting to be capable of many things in survival.

I'd like for Lukas to be reaped soon. However, if there is a slight chance that Lukas can be in the same game as the character Onyx Matia, then please allow for that.
