You like her, Jamarion. You can’t even deny it anymore. He had never “liked” anyone before. He tolerated people. He tolerated his siblings and sometimes hurt them for the moronic things they did - for instance, Hopper locking him in the damn closet, Marina for obsessing over an imaginary friend, and everyone else for sobbing over things that were never worth tears. He wouldn’t classify his feelings for them as “liking” them, but Jamarion was never one to grasp the concept of relationships or kind feelings. For all he knew, he could like his siblings and not even realize it. What he could not longer deny, however, was his liking Sephera Greene. The curse of hesitation prompted the conflicted bully to reach his fist for the door but fail to knock on it and attract any attention. He faintly wondered why he had even bothered venturing the long distance just to approach this doorstep, but ended up sighing in irritation when he realized he already knew the answer to that stupid question.
Two days had passed since their last encounter - an encounter he knew he could never erase from his memory (that giant V on your forehead is gone now, Jamar) even if he wanted to. The truth was, though, that he never wanted to forget it. In fact, because of her previous visit he had been compelled to walk all the way to her house just to see her again, and this time without the supervision of the obnoxious Hopper. Sighing and feeling like an idiot who was about to embarrass himself, he rapped on the door several times before shoving his hands into his pockets. She probably isn’t even here, he thought. He came here for nothing. He should’ve just stayed at home and moped in front of the television. At least that would be a better waste than this. The summer heat was really starting to seep into his skin. He considered whirling around to storm away from the house and face the wrath of the exceedingly bright sunlight until he heard the sound of a doorknob being twisted, forcing him to stiffen and cast his gaze to the ground. Damn it.[/justify][/blockquote]
