Depression
You walk along the dusty road, your head bent in sadness for no apparent reason whatsoever. You are depressed but your normal mind isn't aware of it. For your normal mind, you are simply asleep. You wander the streets, not really caring about where you end up, just knowing that you need to get away from this place. You don't want to go home because your father will beat you and you don't want to leave because this is your home. Moonlight shines down on you and you look up to the sky to see a crescent moon shine down on you and this makes you feel better for a while. Though this happiness doesn't last long, soon you sink back into the suffocating depths of depression. Why am I even alive? you ask yourself. nobody loves me, nobody cares about me, whats the point of being alive if no one loves you you think gloomily to yourself. You're sinking deeper and deeper into the hole of sadness and depression you've created for yourself and you're afraid that you may never be able to come back out. This is when your depressed side fades out and you wake up angry.
Anger
Why am I so angry you wonder as your depressed side fades and your angry side comes out. Suddenly, all you want to do is take out your anger on the world around you. Seeing a small rodent, you pick it up cruelly and slowly squeeze the life out of it, enjoying the sensation of making the life in your hands suffer. As the blood runs down your arm, you feel powerful over the life. Grinning menacingly, you drop the creature and continue to walk, kicking the dead creature into the gutters. Why didn't I try that before? you ask yourself. You feel the world around you start to spin and you black out. Waking up as your more compassionate side.
Compassion
You open your eyes, aware that there is blood on your hands. You don't understand why it is there because you have no memory of the creature you've just killed or any recollection of the other two personalities. You find a water source and wash the blood off your arm, wondering how it got there in the first place. As you are washing your arm, you hear footsteps start towards you and you look up to see a figure.
Clouds fill the sky
and Rain pours onto my upturned face
I let it wash away
All the pain I've had to Embrace

Sometimes I think
I can't last one more day
And know that there must be
a much better way
