Blue Sky Over The Horizon (Ryan/Kale)

Auricula carefully shifted her weight. She carefully slid out one of her throwing knives. She was in a tree, just exploring the horizon, when suddenly she realized that a tracker jacker nest was right above her. Her hazel eyes scanned a way for her to escape, but she found no way of survival. She knew that tracker jackers were highly fatal, and they created hallucinations if someone was bit even once. So Auricula carefully, with turtle movements, climbed down the tree, being very careful not to shake the tree with her body, because then, a wave of angry tracker jackers would probably flood out of the small opening in the bee hive, and Auricula would definately be a goner. Plus, it would be the worse imaginable death, besides being stabbed to death or burned or something. One's body would swell where they were bit by the deadly bees. Finally, when it seemed like ages, Auricula slid down the last part of the tree. She breathed a sigh of relief. She was out of danger. Or was she? This time, she was not so certain. Life was never certain. Auricula shook her head and frowned. She always seemed to be getting into trouble. Never did she ever want to get into bad trouble like the time when...Auricula groaned. She didn't even want to think about it. So she carefully made her way home. It was time to milk the cow. Suddenly something stopped her. She saw the tall frame of a man hidden in the bushes. Auricula stepped towards him. "Hello?" Auricula hoped he was friendly. She tightened her grip on the large throwing knife she had in her hand.
