Rev, District 12

Rev is small for his age, even though he is still twelve at the end of the day. Everyone mistakes him since he is so young, so short, and so innocent. (At least at a first glance.) In many cases, he is innocent. But he is also known to use his innocent appearance as an advantage, and sway many in District 12 to want to help him out and "let him go with food to spare," which he finds to be most acceptable.

The boy has thick dirty blonde hair, and a clever smile in which he uses to continue to beg for food. His skin is only slightly tan, and he is scrawny with practically no muscle build. (Then again he is 12, how strong would you expect a 12 year old to be?)

Rev is a very sweet and kind boy. He loves his parents very dearly, and they mean the world to him, as he means the world to them. He loves getting the opportunity to help people out. (The ones he likes, at least. The ones who are rude he doesn't really bother caring about, no matter what their excuse is.)

However, there is another side to Rev. He is very mischievous, and often tries to convince those around him that he is poor and needs food. Most of the time it works, but some times it fails and he gets told to "scram."

As Rev began to get older, his personality changed. He began to become not as opening and inviting, except for when he was begging for food. That was the only time he would truthfully pretend that he was homeless, had no parents, and needed food to carry on. It got him through the day, so he would continue to do it for as long as he could.

Rev's birth name was Reveerus, but he never went by that. Instead, he always went by Rev. Apparently in his eyes, it was much more appealing to those who would give him money for food, and food by itself. When Reveerus was five, his father got him convinced that he would make good money by begging in the streets. So, he convinced his father to let him drop out of school to do just that. His mother was not happy, but she understood and was willing to oblige, considering they were quite poor.

Because of all of this, Rev never knew anyone outside of his family very well at all. He was homeless and worthless in the eyes of many, and because he wasn't in school, he had no social life whatsoever. This made him feel kind of lonely, often. Rev loved to be by himself, and was never able to grow social skills, so when talking to people outside of his family when he was not begging, he was very awkward, because other then begging, he didn;t know how to communicate with people.

He knew one thing-- his life story, how to explain it, and how to make it appeal to people. That's all he knew how to do. His mother always tried to cheer him up and tell him that that could be used well in the Hunger Games, but until even being able to comprehend that, he would just stick to begging-- and that's what he intends to do.
