Appearance:
Cassandra is tall for being a women. She is 5'11" and weighs 155 pounds. Despite he abnormal size she is very beautiful. Her face is shaped like an oval and she has very few blemishes. She has blond hair that is cut short. It is very soft, but fine. Her eyes are a dark blue. She has a normal skin tone.Personality:
The way she looks on the outside isn't the most important thing about Cassandra. She is 3 months pregnant. She is due to have her baby at the beginning of August. She is just barely starting to show so she tries to cover it up by wearing bigger, less form fitting clothes. She is also just telling people she is gaining weight, but she knows that story won't hold up for long.
Cassandra used to be outgoing and fun loving, but now mostly stays to herself. She is broken and has lost faith in people. She is lonely and depressed, but refuses to kill herself like so many others would in her situation. She has a baby to take care of who she already loves even if it is from an evil man. She doesn't like to be touched. She doesn't do like some others do who have been in her situation. She doesn't attack people who touch her she just tenses up and moves away the best she can. She doesn't mind talking to people as long as they don't touch her. She mostly keeps to her work and she doesn't trust people at all.History:
Cassandra does enjoy smiling though. She enjoys a good joke and a good prank. She is very creative. She comes up with stories about mythical things, but she doesn't share those stories with anyone else. Since her father kicked her out she is very independent and doesn't like to depend on other people since they are not very dependable. She is empathetic, especially towards children and women. She doesn't like men very much and doesn't think she will ever marry.
She has become pessimistic since her attack. She doesn't quite believe in the good of people or karma anymore. She didn't do anything to deserve what she got so why would karma exist? She hasn't told anyone except for her father about who attacked her, but she is paranoid that someone will find out, accuse her of being seductive and she would get arrested and her baby taken away from her.
Her childhood was generally happy and fun. Her mother died right after Cassandra was born so she was the youngest child. Her mother had 2 other children before her, both girls. Her father acted like their mother and father, but he was really good at it. He always had enough time to spend with each of them and always treated them like princesses. Cassandra wasn't necessarily spoiled though. She was taught right and wrong and punished for her wrong doings. Her father could be tough when it came to certain things. They never talked about her mother because her father wouldn't allow it. He would always shut down and stare off into space so she never brought it up. Her father loved her, but not enough to stand up for her when the safety of his other girls were put on the line.Codeword: oDair
Her father kicked her out because of the impending baby. He didn't want his entire household to suffer if she decides to accuse the father of the baby. She has no plans of doing that because she is scared of the consequences herself. She left the house without arguing with her father so she didn't become alienated from the house. They still get together for Sunday lunch and enjoy each others company for holidays. During the Hunger Games she has met with them for dinner every day so they could watch it together.
The story of how she got pregnant isn't a happy one. She was walking home from work a couple of months ago. It was dark, but she wasn't scared. She had been making this same journey every night since she was old enough to work. She was lost in her head telling herself stories while she walked the familiar path. She didn't hear anyone sneak up behind her until someone grabbed her arm. She jumped and was about to scream when she looked at who was grabbing her arm. It was a peacekeeper. She relaxed because she knew she wasn't doing anything wrong. She asked him what she could do for him and he smiled. He told her to come with him because he had a few questions for her. He told her that is wasn't anything to worry about, just standard procedure to make sure she hasn't seen anything rebellious going on. She went with him without a fight, but instead of taking her to the peacekeeper headquarters he took her to his house. She was about to ask him what was going one when he put a washcloth in her mouth and tied it off. He didn't want her to scream for help. He dragged her into his house and kept her there for three days while he *use your imagination here*. He told her family she was being kept for questioning so they wouldn't worry. He let her go with a threat to keep quiet and a promise to see her again.
She still works in the same medical lab, but takes a different way home. She is worried he is going to make good on his promise and hold her for "questioning" again. She has a good reason to fear since she lives by herself and only sees her family on Sundays and he could easily say she was found guilty of something and sent away. She has seen glimpses of him since then, but always hides when she sees his face. She is terrified of him and prays he forgets about her.
