We'll go to very distant lands
With Jake the Dog and Finn the Human
The fun will never end, it's Adventure Time!

District Two has never really been known for its "wild and crazy" side. For the most part, everyone in Two lives according to the same rule book - grow up, train as a Career, and then spend the rest of your life either training more Careers or working in the stone quarries. But all that's about to change. A group of young, reckless, and very bored hoodlums are waiting in the wings for their time to shine. It's about time District Two got a sense of adventure.

FINN (OR FIONNA) - CHARACTER NAME HERE
18 - FC HERE - NOFO

The valiant leader of the group, though at times violent and aggressive, Finn is a brave and righteous hero. He has a very strong sense of responsibility and gets upset when he is unable to help others. He is almost physically incapable of doing anything evil or unjust, and will struggle greatly against doing such things even if the means justify the end. Finn is shown to be a fearless thrill-seeker and enjoys putting himself in the midst of danger simply because he enjoys a challenge. His aspiration to be a great hero (perhaps an actually good Peacekeeper?) one day makes him somewhat the moral sheriff of the group, as he is willing to help and protect any innocent person or creature. Finn appears to be somewhat simple-minded, seeing as he gets a lot of conflicting emotions when it's unclear whether something is good or evil, but he's actually smarter than one would assume. Finn can also be very stubborn, and gullible enough to be easily tricked. He can get overly angry but he immediately feels guilt and remorse and apologizes when he can.

NOTE: A female Finn - a Fionna, as it were - would also be acceptable.

JAKE - CHARACTER NAME HERE
17 - HARRY TREADAWAY FC - ELEGANT

Finn's lifelong best friend, Jake is generally laid-back and tends not to worry about things. Acting as Finn's world-wise mentor, Jake is always willing to give input and advice about a situation, but his suggestions are usually inconsistent, ranging from encouraging and helpful suggestions to ridiculous nonsense. He can be somewhat irresponsible at times, frequently leaving Finn to fight most of a battle on his own, but he always pulls through when he is needed most. Jake is dyslexic and as a result has never done too well in school, meaning he mainly gets by on street smarts. Jake is easily persuaded into doing dangerous and irresponsible things on something as simple as a dare, and often times it takes Finn stepping in to keep him from doing something really stupid. Also, he loves to eat. He likes junk food, especially pie and ice cream, and will often times mess around with gross food combos that he insists are good (Mustard and marshmallows, anyone? Steak and cinnamon buttons?). With an attention span so short it's more of an attention flicker, it's often hard to get him to focus on the task at hand. Jake can also be rather fickle, and doesn't see the world as morally black-and-white as Finn does. In fact, at times, Jake is shown to have somewhat of a dark side. He's not at all what could be called truly evil, but he does have some self-serving tendencies.

MARCELINE THE VAMPIRE QUEEN - MARCELINE VOEGELE
18 - SIERRA KUSTERBECK FC - SOUTH

Marceline is described as a wild rocker girl. A fearless daredevil, she is a lover of all things exotic and has dreams of seeing the world one day. She has a mischievous personality, and is rarely intimidated due to being one of the few within the group who has actually been in Career training her whole life. Despite seeming malevolent at first glance Marceline is a trickster at heart, and her "evil plans" often turn out to be nothing more than elaborate jokes. However, she is prone violent outbursts when angered, and when that happens it isn't advisable to be within ten feet of her. It is easier for Marceline to express her feelings through music and playing her beloved bass, but she has trouble expressing them otherwise. She keeps a diary that she uses for inspiration for songs and fills with the scribbled things she'll never say out loud, fragile confessions of feeling alone and unwanted in the world that are always masked beneath her outward confident appearance. She is also very independent, and often acts without concern for her group of friends. Marcelline has a rocky relationship with her father, one of the District's premier Career trainers who is dead-set on his daughter becoming a Victor, while Marceline herself would rather stay out of the Arena. Lately, Marceline seems to be a little emotional. No one's willing to ask her why for fear of a fist to the face, but she's been a little more aggressive towards Princess Bubblegum than she usually is. Is she just tired of dealing with the pampered princess, or is she attempting to deal with something a little more complicated?

PRINCESS BUBBLEGUM - CHARACTER NAME HERE
17 - COURTNEY VOGLER FC - TRISTEN

Princess Bubblegum is a highly cultured and educated daughter of the two co-CEO's of the nation's largest marble quarry. Pressured (albeit lovingly) by her parents to succeed, she always did well in school and grew up with an undying passion for science. Politically minded but not overly-devious, she harbors secret dreams of growing up to be mayor one day rather than taking over her parents' company. She is very noble and intelligent, perhaps the most intelligent one in the group. Though ordinarily sweet and good-natured, Princess Bubblegum shows a malicious aspect of her personality whenever she is crossed, and even with her kind disposition, her moral code is not as strict as Finn's. She sometimes says morbid or inappropriate things, and isn't utterly opposed to using underhanded tactics to get what she wants. Princess Bubblegum acts noticeably more childlike when she is not in her role as her parents' treasured gem. She dresses and talks more casually when she isn't busy with her duty as a daughter of high society, but as a "princess," she is prim, poised, and straight-laced. However, she is quite capable of loosening up and dressing/acting like a regular teenager with her friends. Lately her relationship with Marceline has been a little strained, to her dismay. Will she be able to patch up their fraying friendship, or will she discover something else entirely?

LUMPY SPACE PRINCESS - CHARACTER NAME HERE
16 - HYOSUNG FC - DARS

Lumpy Space Princess is, at her core, a bratty, apathetic, attention-seeking and willfully ignorant teenager. While her status as the "popular one" in the group is hotly contested with Princess Bubblegum, LSP doesn't possess near the intelligence, charm, or social grace of her rival. Spoiled by her fabulously wealthy parents, she's definitely the richest one in the group, and never forgets to mention as much. Generally apathetic to anything that doesn't concern her directly ("whatever" is a common phrase), LSP prefers to be the center of attention and when people ignore her she will go as far as to yell things out loud to regain the spotlight. She often misinterprets things and jumps to conclusions, and tends to create drama where none exists. She also tends to lose her temper and make fun of people, but she can sometimes attempt to be nice towards others, namely those within her group of friends. However, underneath all her big talk and catty backbiting, LSP has some serious self-worth issues. She doesn't think herself to be at all attractive, and will constantly fish for compliments in an attempt to remedy this. She places the most value in life on having a boyfriend, which she doesn't, although she doesn't seem to realize that it has less to do with her looks and more to do with her abrasive personality.

FLAME PRINCESS - CHARACTER NAME HERE
18 - CORA DEITZ FC - AXEL

Flame Princess has a volatile personality; she usually has a calm demeanor, though with rather frequent tendencies to sudden and violent mood swings. She is very passionate and intense, and has a fondess for arguing with people for the sheer sake of the argument itself. Flame Princess is fiercely independent and fights tirelessly against the stifling rules of her overbearing parents, often sneaking out to cause mischief by night with some members of the group. She is very sensitive and quick to judge, taking even constructive criticism as a personal sleight. She is also prone to unprovoked fits of aggression, and has been known to destroy everything within a ten-foot radius when angry. Very child-like and comparatively kind for a Career, Flame Princess is also impressionable in a positive way. Flame Princess shows curiosity about her surroundings, and will often set things on fire just to see what happens to them. More than a bit of a pyromaniac, she has a tendency of suggesting the most flame-filled method of dealing with anything, even if her solutions don't make sense. She has a massive crush on Finn but doesn't really know how to behave in a romantic situation due to being so sheltered for most of her life, and so lately things between them have become stilted and awkward. Flame Princess is not so much a rebel without a cause as a rebel without a clue, but her enthusiasm and vivacity make up for her ignorance about the ways of the world.

LADY RAINICORN - CHARACTER NAME HERE
17 - SUGGESTED FC - Audrey Kitching

Princess Bubblegum's constant companion and Jake's romantic interest, Lady was born mute due to a rare birth defect. However, despite her unfortunate start, she has grown up to be a very laid-back and good-natured person, quick to smile and always prepared to offer what help she can to her friends. She has a particular talent for art and loves the entire spectrum of color, which is evident in both her wardrobe and her wacky hairstyles that change every week or so. Although she herself is doomed to a life of unwilling silence, Lady likes to surround herself with loud, vivacious people, hence her introduction into the group. Although she will sometimes write out her thoughts on a clipboard she carries with her to communicate, almost everyone in the group has come to read her facial expressions and other nonverbal cues almost to the point where she doesn't need to write at all. Slower to action and more suited to looking before she leaps, Lady is usually the one who will shut down the most outrageous schemes before they can get anyone into trouble.

THE EARL OF LEMONGRAB - CHARACTER NAME HERE
16 - SUGGESTED FC - Tait Hughes Geitner

Princess Bubblegum's younger brother and definitively the black sheep of their family, Lemongrab is off-putting, weird, angry, and alienated with an inability to read social cues. Because of this, and because of the fact that his sour disposition is naturally repellant, he doesn't get along with other people very well, if at all. Although he is exceedingly sensitive to his own emotions, Lemongrab is extremely insensitive to other people's feelings up to the point of being unintentionally cruel and harmful. Although this is due to his extreme social awkwardness, he has a knack for making other people miserable, and even afraid. Most likely, he doesn't realize how toxic he is to other people. He seems to suffer from many mental and emotional issues, and overreacts to small problems in the manner of an angry child. He's a neat-freak who will often refer to the state of things as "unacceptable" by his standards, and also has haphephobia - a fear of being touched. He is not evil - just perpetually confused and unintentionally harmful to those around him. His actions appear to be driven by unspecific anger and not direct malice towards anything or anyone in particular. Despite his negative attributes seemingly outweighing any positive ones he may have, he is a fairly stubborn and resilient person. Lemongrab is actually in complete misery over his loneliness and isolation, and this leads to him having several psychotic breaks. However, despite the attention he craves from others he has a rather large superiority complex and is under the delusion that he is always right, hence why he hates being corrected or reprimanded for his mistakes, and why he is so quick to irresponsibly blame his life problems on others.

THE ICE KING - CHARACTER NAME HERE
18 - CONNOR MCCLAIN FC - LEI

Though Ice King is normally disagreeable and short-tempered, he is merely a nuisance and tends to be the grumpy antagonist within the group. A genuinely tragic, lonely, and sympathetic character, Ice King spends most of his time pining after Princess Bubblegum, who won't give him the time of day. Due to his poor social skills, enduring short attention span and arrogant nature, Ice King is unable to woo any prospective mates and merely puts up the front of a womanizer that most people actually buy into. However, he can be a loving person at times. Ice King has only a few friends and expresses a continual zeal to spend time with anyone who will tolerate his company, especially his frenemies, Finn and Jake. Out of everyone he is perhaps closest to Marceline, whom he has trained with since childhood and who also shares his social anxiety and tendency to hostility. Friendship and companionship is all he really wants, though he goes about it the wrong way and doesn't really have a concept of how to treat people.
