Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children [Open]

In a far away place, past even District 13, the Atlantic Ocean meets the land. On the shore, old but perfectly preserved, is a beautiful mansion. Inside this queer building Miss Alma Lefay Peregrine and her strange children reside. Of course these are not actually her children, but children she rescued from harsh places in the districts, scooped up from the woods, or took over to ease the burden of random wanderers. They are each peculiar in their own way, some seen and some only in their minds. Their strange, doll-like faces are blissful as they frolick on the beautiful shore line day after day, seemingly happy. They have their quarrels and they have their parties. Some are curious of the world away from the ocean and the large house, but Miss Peregrine assures them it is safer here with her terrifying stories.

Alma Lefay Peregrine - 50 - Female - NPC - A naturally down to earth woman, she also knows she must set an example for her children. She is honest unless the situation absolutely requires decievement, and is very polite. Grammar is very important to her, just as making sure the children are safe and well educated. She will be an npc for now, but if anyone is interested go on ahead and apply.

Jacob Portman - 16 - Male - Open - Ever since his grandfather sent him off with directions to meet Miss Peregrine, he's been seeing terrifying hallucinations of things he calls wights. He has somehow convinced everyone else they are real. Otherwise, he is a bit of an awkward boy. He never made many friends in the capitol, and often felt he did not belong there. He tends to amaze his new friends with tales of his old home.

Emma Bloom - 16 - Female - Sarella - Emma can be very mean at first, simply because she does not know you and is a very suspicious and paranoid person. There is a good sized wall between her and emotion. Of course, that does not affect her crushing on Jacob as if he was her lord. She loves attention, and anything dramatic suits her well. She is a pyromaniac from District 12 and was scooped up by Miss Peregrine when she was rather young.

Millard Nullings - Age 15 - Male - Open - Is thoroughly convinced he is invisible, though he likes to be everywhere. He is often being told to put his clothes back on, but luckily he has finally agreed to keep some undies on at all times. He is a bit of a know-it-all, and keeps track of all the younger children. He likes spying on people.

Enoch O'Connor - 17 - Male - Open - Enoch has a very morbid mind, though he can be friendly and caring. He is often found in his room playing with clay and dead mice. He believes their hearts carry life, irritating his housemates with attempts at bringing things to life... or back to life. He is also very creative, and full of new adventure ideas.

Bronwyn Bruntley - 13 - Female - Open - From District 2, once her twin brother became not-quite-but-almost-dead in a training accident, she ran off and ended up at the ocean a few months later. She is very strong, and a bit intimidating to the others, but in the end she is pretty friendly. Not the sharpest tack though, and best friends with Emma. Bronwyn is often percieved as bored, or deep in thought. More often she is simply bored.

Olive Decembers - 9 - Female - Open - This girl is a show off, no matter the occasion. She likes to be unique, and in all honesty, she is quite the character. She believes she can float away if she wants to, just like her thoughts do the rare times she is actually calm. Definitely a free spirit, but a coward at times. She is from District 6, but often complains she should have been in born in District 4 because of her adoration of water.

Hugh Bochanen - 16 - Male - Open - Hugh and his bees are a family, so don't mess with him, or you won't have an honey and you'll be hoping you aren't allergic to bees. He does not hang out much with the others, often leaving the shore about a half a mile to find his bees. They sting him occasionally, bu he does not cry. Being from District 10, the others have decided on his history as a bee farmer though they have no idea what really went on at home.

Claire Densmore - 7 - Female - Ani (Anibriar548784) - Claire doesn't talk much. And she doesn't eat much either. She is always with the others, but more of a background feature than anything else. All the other children know about her is she was part of some experiment in District six that went wrong. Something is hidden behind that golden curtain of hair... [Whoever plays her better be super creative cause backmouths are completely impossible unless you're an alien]

Fiona MacAmhlaidh - 15 - Female - Open - Fiona is an outdoorsy person, frolicking around her garden like a preschooler on a playground. Fiona also enjoys cooking, and hanging out with the others. She is from District 9, but grain isn't her only thing, for certain!

Horace Todt - 14 - Male - Open - Horace is the one everyone stares at when there is nothing else to do. He thinks he can tell the future, and often fakes "visions" for attention. The strange thing is, he is often correct by sheer luck, or he predicts things he already was told would happen, or set up, or occasionally, he saw, forgot, then dreamed about. He gets whirs of excitement when he really does have prophetic dreams, even more so when they come true. He never tells about the ones that don't though, so, SHOO!
