Soro Maora-D10

Appearance:
Soro(Sew-Row) Maora(May-Or-Uh) is 6’1”and weighs about 175pounds. He has sturdy build. He is pretty fast and can go a good distance. He can lift and throw lots of weight, but he has a bad left shoulder. He has many scars on his body but most are on his hands and wrists. His hands are a pretty good size and are fast.

He has a heavy jaw and a big smile that sometimes comes out. His nose smaller and flat, which he thinks would come in handy in a fight since it won’t get broken so easy. His eyes are a light brown and big. They show life in him even though he doesn’t show it himself. His ears are medium size and are connected to his head.

One thing that is unique about him is that he wears a cow tooth in each of his ears. His eyebrows are a little thicker than usual but not usually noticed. His straight, thick brown hair comes down a little bit past his ears and is a dark brown.

Personality:
Soro is a very calm person unless you insult someone he loves. He stands up for the weak and sick. He loves work. He loves everything about it. He thinks it will help him when he gets older and has the same job: butcher. Even though Soro is a very humble person, he is not afraid to take pride in things.

Or if a child or an elderly person is not getting enough respect. He does not tolerate that kind of thing. He is often called soft for it, even though he’s bigger than a lot of his classmates. He hates school and he doesn’t always go, and he gets punished by the peacekeepers for it. Hardly any of the kids he knows likes him and that goes both ways.

His biggest secret is that he like dangerous challenges. Like the hunger games. He wants a chance to show that he is not what others say he is. But he wants to prove himself. He doesn’t say this though because others will just brush it off as crazy. He may want something, but that doesn’t mean he is not scared of it.

History:
Soro was born in the house of his parents’ friends. Their friends were healers so that’s the first place they went. He was 6pounds 8ounces. His head was full of hair. Ever since he could walk and talk, he helped his parents with their job. They were butchers. Growing up, he had meat for meals, so he had a couple more pounds to spare, compared to the other children.

His family also had a little more money than other families, so he had clothes that were in better condition than the kids that practically wore rags that are called clothes. These set him back quite a lot since he wasn’t as accepted with the others because he was better off than the rest. But he’s observant though, so he sees how others act around each other and he applies it when he does interact with other people. It got him far, even though he had little practice.

When he got older, he was as good a butcher as his father. He carried in the meat (which made him strong) and he cut the meat (which gave him knowledge of animal’s innards and body). When his mother got sick and died when he was twelve, he took it out on himself. He went straight to what they call the meat room and started on some meat. After a few minutes he couldn’t stand the truth and picked up the knife and threw it across the room. It stuck in a cow hanging from the rack. That’s when he started throwing knives. Over the years he developed this special skill and knew that he was unique. After his mother’s death it was like his own. He didn’t talk much and he was stubborn and careless. He got into fights at school and always won. But he developed lots of scars on his back from the whippings. It made him tolerate pain. He knew that he was ready for anything and everything. Though it scared him greatly. He did have one friend though. His friend helped out with the meat for free. His friend wasn’t very social either and they very rarely talked about anything besides meat. For the next four years he continued his job.
