Appearance:[/color] Gabrielle is a slim young woman. She has blue eyes, pale golden hair, and light pink lips. Overall, Gab is light. She has light fingers, light skin, light coloring, light weight, light posture, a light walk. She is 5'7" and 115 pounds. She has strong arms from working in the bakery, and small burns over her fingers and hands. Her nose is straight and slightly arched eyebrows are one shade darker than her hair.

Gabrielle hates her eyes out of all of her features, because they seem cold, and loves her hair the most. Her curves are soft, and her hipbones don't stick alarmingly out from her body. Her legs are long, and her feet, hands, and ears are small. Most commonly, Gabrielle will wear a light dress with a shawl or a sweater in the colder months. A white apron is almost always worn over her clothes, that it's weird to see her without one.

Personality:[/color] Gabrielle is a gentle spirit. Kind and caring, she is the poster child for mild. She is not unkind to anyone, and even the Peacekeepers know they are welcome in her shop. She is genuine and happy, ready to throw a surprise celebration for a local child's birthday, even if they cannot pay up front.

She works herself to the bone, and doesn't complain. In her bakery, no unkind language will go unnoticed, and any and all negative words will promptly be removed from the building. She will not stand for laziness from her employees, and with a firm, but gentle hand, will work them as hard as they need to. When the situation calls for it, she can be tough, and step up to the plate.

Gabrielle is the keeper of secrets. Though open about herself, if asked, Gabrielle would never tell another soul about your secret. She is always available to listen, gives the best advice she can. Gabrielle doesn't get angry, just upset and disappointed. She doesn't raise her voice, but commands attention simply with her there-ness. Though not outspoken, and not invisible, Gabrielle is just there, a friendly smile, and a comforting presence. Gabrielle is most afraid of letting people down, and hurting other people. That, and spiders.

Gabrielle loves to cook, and finds great joy in running her very own bakery, continually grateful to her grandfather. Her favorite food is apples. She loves the fruit, and makes sure to buy enough for her pies (which are almost infamous) before District 11 ships them off to the other districts.

History:[/color]The story really starts years before Gabrielle's birth, with her parents. Irisa Geneve was the wife of a young man with high standing in District 11. Michas Taryn married Irisa and Michas got promoted to a job in District 2. Soon after the move, they had a child. Gabrielle played in the streets of District 2, and bathed in the water in District 2, and ate the food in District 2, but Gabrielle was not from District 2. As a small and only child, too young to remember her former lifestyle, Gabrielle was moved to back District 11 after the death of her parents. She grew up with her mother's parents and inherited the bakery after her grandfather's death when she was 15.

In school, Gabrielle was excited, and kind. Some of her teachers commented that she was too nice, but Gabrielle cracked down harshly on the bullying of some of her classmates. Gab survived her games, watching as other children got reaped, and didn't come back.

Every year since she was 10, Gabrielle would say goodbye to the tributes, giving each a warm pastry and the best of luck. She never told them they would come back. She didn't have it in her to lie.

Since she's graduated, with high marks, Gabrielle has been working full time in her grandfather's bakery, and now can confidently call it her own. She and her grandmother live together in the apartment above the shop, and celebrate each holiday together. Gabrielle is quite concerned about her grandmother's health, insisting she only work slow hours in the shop. Gabrielle can be quite persuasive when she puts her mind to it.

Gabrielle just got out of a relationship with her boyfriend from high school, and holds no bitter or unkind feelings toward him. Though single, Gabrielle is in no rush to get into another relationship, and firmly believes that you should take the days as they come.
