Stars in the Sky [Open/Blitz]

ic; Cosmo sat on a rotting log at the edge of the field, a stick in one hand and a pocket knife in the other. His fingers were red from the cold, while his knuckles turned white where they gripped the knife. He ran the blade down the tip of the stick, carefully forming a point. A pile of wood shavings lay at his feet, with more falling as whittled down the bark. His head bent over his work, he didn't pay much attention to the older boy in the snow-covered feild. He did, however, make note of a few things: the boy was probably a lot older than Cosmo, four years or so. He seemed to be makig a snow angel, which made Cosmo smirk as he drew his knife along the stick. Just like the kids at school, this boy was wasting precious time with something called fun.

Cosmo didn't bother to greet him as the older boy stood and crossed the feild. There was no point in saying hello, it would just be a waste. All he wanted to do now was get information. There was always room for more information, and it was a good thing to use up your time with. 

By the time he add finished with his carving, the older boy had reached the edge of the feild, and paused. Cosmo bent to brush his hand through the wood shavings, as if looking for something, but kept his eye on the boy. He was just curious to know why he'd stopped.
