It wasn't long after the sun finally breathed it's last and the moon rose up into the sky casting it's light onto a now peaceful District 1. It was than that he and Renn decided to visit her famliy. He couldn't shake the feeling though that something would go horribly wrong, that seeing Rahm again would cause some problems. For some reason he didn't feel reassured by Renn's words that her family would like him. If he hadn't forgot about the incident than for sure Rahm didn't, and he knew that something would explode when Rahm saw him. He couldn't beat up Rahm, that might put a crimp on their plans of being together, but he would have to defend himself if need be. Or did he, he was off the clock right now, no one would be around to see him lose a battle except Renn and her folks. He could easily just let Rahm beat him up for a bit and than call it a night.
He began mumbling to himself about Rahm and what he was going to do when he got there. Wondering if everyone there knew about that incident and if they would all hate him. Normally he wouldn't care if anyone hated him, but it would make it awkward for him and Renn if they hated him, and than his own family hated her. So far it wasn't looking good, but he told her he would do anything to be with her, and he would do exactly that. He hoped that she would be willing to go along with him if he decided to just up and move away if things got to bad with their folks. He really couldn't see her leaving the home she had come to after leaving her old famliy, so he wouldn't ask her to do that unless she asked about it first. His mumbling continued as they walked down the street together his arm around her waist holding her close to him. He slowly became aware of his surroundings waking himself up from his thoughts. According to Renn they shouldn't be that far from her home now, and accordingly his heart beat sped up.
Renn, you're sure your famliy will like me, I'm kinda worried about it. I mean I've never had any problem with people hating me before, but now it matters since it has to do with us. I would hate to get off on the wrong foot with them.He made sure to avoid saying anything about his run in with Rahm, or how he may already know some of her family. He was still clinging to the hope that they wouldn't remember anything about him. The street lights were growing more numerous which signaled they were in the wealthier part of of the district, even by his standards. It made sense because in order to house a career of another family you had to shell out alot of money. He looked at the houses and his eyes rested on the one that Renn had described as her own. He took in a deep breath and walked up to the door. Looking down at Renn he kissed her hoping to find comfort in her, and he found enough to knock on the door. Knocking twice and getting no responce he looked at Renn, and seeing no help for what to do he turned the knob and walked in his arm still around Renn's waist. He didn't say anything though, he figured it would be best if she said something first.
